In 1968, George Harrison wrote "Sour Milk Sea" for Jackie Lomax to record. It includes a verse which seems to me to be a possible reference to the Illuminati:
"Looking for release from limitation
There's nothing much without illumination
You fool around with every different cult
There's only one way really brings results."
Althought the line does not directly describe any Illuminati behavior, ending the second line with the word "illumination" and ending the third with "cult" seems a choice of words that a clever songwriter who knew about the Illuminati might insert into one of their songs. It's a great song-- strange that George never recorded it with the Beatles...
Lord Mayor: “You could pass for the originals”
Ringo: “We are the originals”
Lord Mayor: “No, no, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band.”
John: “Well, they couldn’t be much with a name like that.”
Paul: “Sgt. Pepper?”
Lord Mayor: “You could impersonate them and rally the land to rebellion!”
As some of you know, I have posted my thoughts that the Beatles probably knew about the Illuminati by 1966, and that the overall Faul plan was part of their plan to fight them, whether or not what happened in autumn '66 is closer to 60IF or my alternate theory. There are several threads on this forum in which I have discussed this idea with other posters, so here's the links, all of which contain some relevant points by various people:

The original Beatles demo of "Sour Milk Sea" can be found pretty easily with file-sharing programs such as KaZaaa and Grokster.
Does anyone else here think this line could be a thinly veiled, indirect yet intentional reference to the Illuminati?

In the scene from Yellow Submarine where the Beatles “unfreeze” Lord Mayor and devise their plan to save Pepperland from the Blue Meanies (Illuminatis), Lord Mayor pretty much lays it out:Lord Mayor: “You could pass for the originals”
Ringo: “We are the originals”
Lord Mayor: “No, no, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band.”
John: “Well, they couldn’t be much with a name like that.”
