My thoughts keep circulating around mathmatics, astromony and electricity........the little neutrino. any thoughts?

"Klaatu Barada Nikto" were the secret words a boy needed to say to save the world. It was about aliens who came to "help" us by threatening to kill us all if we didn't stop fighting wars or some such.
I think a main character was an alien in human form named Klaatu.

I thought Klaatu was the robot programmed for destroying?
Starring wonderful charactor actor Michael Rennie as his alien (humanoid) master. He also appears on a early Lost in Space two-parter called, "The Keeper." He was magnificent in these kinds of parts. Like Peter Lorre in his ilk. I think that bothered Rennie so much the bottle got him, and he wasted away by the 70's. Anyone hip? I haven't seen TDTES STill in 20 years.........must rent......

A connection!

Plot summary from IMDb:
An alien (Klaatu) with his mighty robot (Gort) land their spacecraft on cold war Earth just after the end of World War II. They bring an important message for the planet which Klaatu wishes to tell to representatives of all nations. However, communication turns out to be difficult so, after learning something of the natives, Klaatu decides on an alternative approach.

[..And you are remiss in neglecting to mention RINGO featured a photo of the killer robot on the coveted FRONT cover of his platinum album! A connection! ] definitely.....here's a short review....... classics.www5.50megs.com/gort/plot.htm"A huge 'flying saucer' lands in Washington, D.C (prelude.ram). A semi-panic ensues and troops arrive. A humanoid alien (Klaatu) (Klaatu2.wav-29k) and a robot (Gort) emerge, but Klaatu is wounded by a nervous soldier. Gort then uses his laserbeam 'eye' to melt the weapons right out of soldiers' hands and even a tank. Klaatu's arm is treated at Walter Reed hospital and he tries to arrange a meeting with the leaders of the world, but they cannot agree on a meeting place, letting pettiness and pride rule them. "I'm impatient with stupidity. My people have learned to live without it". (impatient.wav-40k) The story continues with Klaatu escaping from the hospital, hiding out in a boarding house, befriending a young boy, and contacting a scientist in the attempt to meet with the best scientific minds of Earth. Even they require prodding, so Klaatu arranges to shut down Earth's power for half an hour (hence the title). He is hunted down by the military, is killed, brought back to life by Gort, and introduces the world to the phrase, "Gort, Klaatu barada nikto". (Klaatu.wav-81k) One reviewer thought that means "don't destroy the planet". I rather believe it means, "Hey, come get me!", but yes, "spare those dumb humans" is part of it. Anyway, once he finally has our attention (and is ready to leave), he addresses a world audience, warning us that unless the people of Earth stop their nuclear frenzy, which also endangers the rest of the universe, Gort and the rest of the robots on Klaatu's planet will reduce the world "to a burnt-out cinder". (Cinder.wav-66k) "The choice," declares Klaatu, "is yours." It still is." ..................I haven't really researched much alien stuff, but saw a show recently about power being shut down in the eighties at military bases with alien connections.

BTW everybody, I apologize for posting earlier that the robot on the cover of the movie is Klaatu-- perhaps I should've watched the movie before I posted that. Klaatu is the intergalactic visitor who looks human/Gort is his robot bodyguard, pictured on the cover. Right. Got it. I just bought the movie-- hopefully I'll notice some more clues (as in more references possibly later made by the Beatles?)
