(From Harrison's final album, "Brainwashed." Harrison sings to FAUL):
RUN SO FAR
You fly out as your smile wears thin I sigh knowing the mess you're in And you know that you can't get away And you know that you can't hide it from yourself
Lonely days, blue guitar There's no escape, can only run so far
I know something I ought to say Stuck here, trying to find a way And you know that you can't get away And you know that you can't hide it from yourself
Lonely nights, traveling far There's no escape, can only run so far Lonesome tears, after dark There's no escape, can only run so far
You fly out as your smile wears thin I sigh knowing the mess you're in And you know that you can't get away And you know that you can't hide it from yourself
Lonely days, blue guitar There's no escape, can only run so far Lonely nights, traveling far There's no way out, can only run so far Lonesome tears, after dark There's no escape, can only run so far

Hmm... interesting. "Can only run so far" a reference to "Band on the Run," which was Faul's own personal lament about being trapped in the role?

Lonely nights....not-so-subtle Faul reference, re: 'No More Lonely Nights." "You fly out.." reference to 'Blackbird..'take these broken wings, and learn to fly..' 'Lonely days..' opposite of lonely nights. 'Blue guitar...' my guitar gently weeps.

I don't think "You fly out" ios a refernce to "Blackbird," which I beleive was a Paul compositin. It's more likely a reference to the tours of the "Band on the Run." As the other poster pointed out, this is George's answer to "Band on the Run."
