When played backwards, a little before about the half way point, it almost sounds like "Paul is bloody. He's sleeping now." I don't recall seeing this clue anywhere else, so if it is old news, I apologize.
I also could have sworn that I heard somethign like "One and one and one and one is one and two", possibly meaning that what was once equal to 4 is now equal to 3...but I could be mistaken.
Also, on an unrelated note, once in a while, it sounds like George says "Hari Krishna", but I could just be hearing things, lol.
Also, this is my first post here.

WELCOME Otacon! Ya I have the "Paul is bloody" sample saved, but I didn't hear, or know about the "he's sleeping now" part. I'll have to go back & check that again..............

Just in case you didn't know, I think he only says it twice (I think). Somwhere towards the middle (well, between the middle and 1/4) and I think somewhere in the 3/4 of the song. I'm sorry it's not very exact, but I downloaded the file from a file sharing program, so the length may vary slightly from yours.

nonono, i heard the soundclip sample on a radio show, either the most recent one or the one from the '60s or 70s, i downloaded them both. and i heard it, too. i dont think it was distinct enough to be an intentional clue, though.

. I've owned a few copies of the MMT Cd and I can't say this about the vinyl, but the backwards voices on Blue Jay Way are played forwards during the first verse.... it goes something like this. The lyrics will be represented in regular type and the faint backwards singers will be in (brackets) There's a fog upon LA (paul) And my friends have lost their way. (died) They'll be over soon they said (Paul is very) Now they've lost themselves instead (bloody) I realized this existed when I played the song backwards and eerily heard please don't be long forwards by the end of the file (which would be the beginning of the forwardly played song) I'm surprised no one noticed this. This only helps prove that these backwards messages were not coincidental or unknown to the band. Unfortunately George will never be available for questioning about this tidbit.

Maybe this was mentioned before, but...
At the end of the song, George sings " Don't be long" faster with the emphasis on "long" rather than on "be" so it sounds more like " Don't belong, don't belong"
Could that be an oblique reference to Faul not belonging in the band because he replaced Paul?

OK I'll be the broken record here (surprise). Did you hear all those clues because you were listening for them? Suggestive listening? Especially the blue jay way clues -- pretty subtle for virgin ears to pick out. Play it for someone who doesn't know what they are listening for and see if they hear it. Try the test here 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=60ifclues&action=display&thread=1072855648 if you haven't already. Not saying they aren't there, I hear a lot of that stuff too. But once you are listening for it you can never just hear it naturally.

I wasn't necessarly listening for him to say "he's sleeping now", but yes, I was looking for clues. I know what you mean, and you could be right.

OK I'll be the broken record here (surprise). Did you hear all those clues because you were listening for them? I put Blue Jay Way on my computer backwards & played it a couple of times & I didn't really notice that either. I heard the Paul is bloody part, but that still isn't as solid as some "clues". Sure, this is looking for them .... no harm in that really. For me, the only one that really gets to me is the miss him miss him miss him thing. Now that is obviously more deliberate.
