Anyone find any clues in the various songs of the medley? I was listening to You Never Give Me Your Money and thought maybe Faul wrote part of it in response to not having the money that he expected when he "became" James Paul...I'll post an interpretation when I have a little bit more time. ;D

OK, ready to explain some of the lyrics, first, I have a theory that perhaps the medley is from the view of Faul, though not written by him, I think he asked Lennon to write on his ideas. I think it starts with Bill's negotiations with his boss, and proceeds thru. Give me your thoughts! You Never Give Me Your Money
You never give me your money, you only give me you funny paper, (He can't get a raise) And in the middle of negotiations you break down(His boss told him to f-off)
I never give you my number, I only give you my situation, (He pleads for more money, for his "family") And in the middle of investigation I break down(He quits in the middle of a case to join the Beatles)
Out of college money spent, see no future, pay no rent,(Doesn't know what to do with his life) All the money's gone, nowhere to go, any jobber got the sack
Monday morning turning back, yellow lorry slow, nowhere to go,
But oh, that magic feeling, nowhere to go, Oh, that magic feeling, Nowhere to go, nowhere to go, Ah, Ooo, Ah, Ooo, Ah
One sweet dream,(wants to be a rockstar) pick up the bags and get in the limousine,
Soon we'll be away from here,(Leaving Canada) step on the gas and wipe that tear away
One sweet dream, came true, today,(became a rockstar) Came true, today, Came true today, Yes it did, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah
One two three four five six seven, All good children go to heaven (Repeat)(Paul went to heaven)

That's a very interesting interpretation... I never really thought of it in that light. Thanks, and welcome to the board!

Thanks for the welcome! I've been working on Here Comes the Sunking, do you guys seem to agree that the Sunking is a nickname for John, because I seem to remember reading that somewhere.
