HI, this is my firts clue. As I'm Italian, i've always tought that 1 of Faul's song was quite weird to be heard by someone of our country. I mean "Say, say, say": if u read it to me, as i think in italian, i understand that u r sayin to me : "six six six". I, of course don't think that Louis Cypher (remeber the story of the movie "angel heart"?, clue #2) as something to do with it but it can anyway be a way to say:" I'm like doctor Faust"... What do u think?
PS:excuse me 4 my English, it's long time that i don't practice

This is pretty interesting. When the late Catholic visionary Veronica Leuken asked the Blessed Mother what the meaning off 666 was, she was told it means "a copy of a copy". The explanation was along these lines: Since man (and woman) were created on the 6th day in the Biblical creation story, 6 represents the creation of man, or, simply, man. The physical body of a man is a copy of how his spirit looks. If I were to kill you, your ghost, or spirit, would look like you. Therefore, your physical body is a copy of your spiritual look (copy #1). A copy of your physical body would be a clone (copy #2). The clone is a copy of a copy. the first 6 - your spiritual image the second 6 - your physical image the third 6 - a clone of you People think of 666 as the number of "the anti-christ". But students of language say that what "anti-christ" means is "in the place of Christ", not "the adversary of Christ." If Faul is calling himself "666", it's another way of saying he's a copy of the original; someone standing "in the place of" Paul. And does he not come "in the spirit of Paul" as well? He's a copy (clone) of the copy of Paul's spirit. Still, in fairness it has to be said that it seems to me he has left clues in his work that he's not the real deal. For example, on the "RAM" album, the chorus in the background of the song "Smile Away" is singing, "don't know how to do that"; "show me how to do that". It is muffled, so as to be subliminal, but it's there, and it relates to how, at the time, he was having to be shown how to do the things that Paul did, because he didn't know how to do them himself.

just checked my old ancient greek-italian vocabulary (i did classic studies: latin and greek) for "antì" it says: 1)in the primitive sense: in front of, versus; 2)instead of, in the place of. JUst to say that both the interpretations can be valid.

wow this is the first time I have read this....I think you are right Byrd...about 666 being a clone. I was reading someplace on the internet about Jesus being cloned. Something about there being blood on the shroud. One of the things I have been reading about cloning, is about the "junk DNA." They are thinking about removing it from the DNA coding, because it doesnt go with anything they know of, so the answer was to get rid of it. Then I read some people think the "junk DNA" is where the soul of the body is. So the out-come would be if they cloned Jesus without the "junk DNA" he wouldnt have a soul. Scared me, I can tell you. I will have to look for that article again.
