I don't know if this is the right forum or place to post this but I want to know if anyone here agrees with this point I've been mulling over for a while After re-reading alot of the clues that have to do with the date of Paul's death I sometimes feel like we are just grasping at straws for any date, time or place mentioned in any song - and bringing in outside artists (like david Bowie) and their music as evidence (although there is no discernable connection in most cases other than speculation) only tends to convolute the matter of where and when he died I can understand the car crash theory because it's constantly clued into and Paul did have some type of motor vehicle accident around that period (Moped accident or something else?) but using any day and time and place that just appear in the songs IMO is only serving to maybe hide the real truth even more - IDK, just something I wanted to say because I'm kind of on the fence about the veracity of some of the clues here I mean, why hasn't anyone used a day mentioned in Lady Madonna or some place mentioned in the Ballad of John and Yoko? (ok, now I'm just being silly ) IDK, maybe I'm just lacking in sleep - but it all is pretty funny

Well Lady Madonna and Ballad of John and Yoko have been mentioned before.....
Tuesday and Wednesday appear to be mentioned many times in regards to JPM's death, i'm sure you will agree, hence (and i'm afraid I cannot point you to the exact thread) the lines in LM "Tuesday aftenoon is never ending, Wednesday morning papers didn't come"
Apparently they refer to when JPM was found and managing to gag the press to stop them from revealing his demise in the morning papers.
Gibraltar in the "Ballad" is a possible location of either JPM's grave or where he met his maker. John and Yoko married in Gibraltar so as to be in the presence of his dead friend. Reasoning involve "Fool on the hill" and other scenes from MMt which almost seem to represent the Rock of Gibraltar.
Hope that helps you out.

The Sgt. Pepper drum date is the BIG date clue - Sept 11th, Oct 3rd, or Nov 9th. Personally, I believe the Sept 11th date to be the true interpretation.

I was actually joking about the Ballad and Madonna references (actually, I pulled it out of my ass ) The morning paper reference makes sense now that I think about it - as for the drum I've seen it several times but I don't see a date - all I see is HE DIE and a one - maybe someone can point it out for me Thanks for the responses - sorry for being so callous in the first post - I guess I was just getting some anger out over some questions I had Has anyone ever looked at the song "Back In The USSR" for clues?
