I am a long time Robert Palmer Fan. (Was a paul Mcartney fan 1st )
relevant RP facts
1) Was in the BEE GEES Sgt. Pepper movie, when asked about it refers to it as " that time when I was doing all those silly movies" as if he was forced to do them.
2)His Father was in British Military and Intelligence
3)Been in the business since his teens (maybe he was a ghost writer and he was bitter over royalties like Phil Collins who was in the Sgt P. movie)
4) Had 3 albums back to back named, Secrets, Double Fun, & Clues.
I don't know where the origional link is but some one brought up Robert Palmer's Clues album ironicly the thread had nothing to do with Robert I think it had Pink Floyd and Phil Collins, Moody Blues, David Bowie, anyway I was thinking about the Clues album as I followed the reasoning then someone posted the Lyrics to the song Clues in particular:
You said you knew all along
We could work it out, oh yeah
(which seems to refer to We can work it out, by itself just a coincidence but with the next verses)
Do you have to make a fuss everytime we fly
Oh Im looking for clues
(Shocking since Paul died in a plane crash supposedly but wait...)
have to make an effort now I just to be serious, oh yeah
(its a big inside joke but the public can't see them laughing because they won't give you the benefit of a doubt, Not only can you not believe the lies in the newspaper, but also a direct reference to A day in the Life lyrics "I read the news today oh boy")
Nobodys gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, oh my
Everytime I pick a paper up its harder to believe the news, oh yeah
Im gonna have to shake it up and twist and shout, oh my
(2 beatle song refrences even the YEAH is Beatle-esque)
I have always been intrigued with the way Palmer reverses lyrics (I always look at this song as the song that taught me how to write lyrics) because I thought the reversal was brilliant but now I see the deeper meaning.
I think that the telephone is used as some kind of code or metaphor for "contact" in pop songs. I have read all the Lyrics from the Beatles and all the EMI artist in question here. The way Clues reverses lyrics proves my theory.
The telephone contact or calling or being called seems to refer to "joining the club" metaphorically or literally.
If All the major record labels are controlled by the illuminati then every singer/musician must enter into contract with the illuminati and join the club or at least play ball. I am not saying they get a call saying Hi I'm with the Illuminati... but I am saying that its a controlled dirty business and everyone must play ball in some one elses game. So if you read the lyrics that talk about phones/calls/or telephones to mean "contact by the controllers or Illuminati then the lyrics make more sense than if they are just talking about a girl or a guy.
1st lyrics
Its crazy but Im frightened by the sound of the telephone, oh yeah
Im worried that the caller might have awful news, oh my
Who knows these days where on earth the money goes, oh yeah
No doubt we could put it to a better use, oh my
(Always follow the money!)
You keep insisting that nobody showed you how to keep relationships, oh yeah
Your daddy made a real good try, oh my
(This might refer to Palmer himself His father was in British Intelligence and Palmer has said that the things his father worked on where top secret. Maybe his daddy tried to teach Palmer how to keep these contacts/ "relationships")
Last lyrics
Its crazy but Im frightened by the sound of relationships, oh yeah
I swear we could put it to a better use, oh my
Do hurry baby youve forgotten how to catch a night groove, oh yeah
You told all the callers you were not amused oh Im looking for clues
(So telephone and relationships are now the same thing, and it sounds like Palmer dousn't like playing ball with the boys)
You keep insisting that nobody showed you how to use a telephone, oh yeah
Nobodys gonna give you a second chance, oh my
I dont have to make an effort now to find out where the money goes, oh yeah
Do you have to make a fuss everytime we dance
(He knows where the money goes to the same person he doesn't want to have a relationship with, the person calling, I used to think it was a girl but now I can see it is the "contriollers" . Second chance sounds like Not a second time which can also refer to a double ironicly Palmer did 2 Beatle cover songs, Not a second time on Clues and The Long and winding road on Rythem in Blues the UK version only. (So I have never heard it).
also think that Love is a code word as well, somewhere along the lines of doublespeak love is hate and hate is love and relating to the illuminati in some way. but that's another post.
(Lennon for comparison (On clues Robert has a song called "found you now")
John Lennon | I Found Out Lyrics I told you before stay away from my door
(Lennon's last interview for Playboy he refers to Faul as some man showing up at his door with a guitar everyday when he just wanted to enjoy family life with yoko & sean. Do you refer to your childhood friend with whom you have had a long work relationship with as "some guy"?)
Don't give me that brother, brother, brother
The freaks on the phone won't leave me alone
So don't give me that brother, brother, brother
I found out
Now that I showed you what I been through
Don't take nobody's word what you can do
(Clues lyric: You cant do nothing that you dont put your mind to, oh yeah)
There ain't no Jesus gonna come from the sky
Now that I found out I know I can cry
I found out
Some of you sitting there with your cock in your hand
Don't get you nowhere don't make you a man
I heard something bout my ma and my pa
They didn't want me so they made me a star
I found out
(As I read about mind control and slaves they usually come from broken homes and homes where 1 parent was totally absent or unkown ironicly a lot of "stars" fit this criteria)
Old hare Krishna got nothing on you
Just keep you crazy with nothing to do
Keep you occupied with pie in the sky
(no explanation needed for flaming Faul some say it refers to UFOs)
There ain't no Guru who can see thru your eyes
I found out
(Eyes the illuminati symbol the ancient egyptian symbol by the way John said in Playboy that he believes in the Egyptian Gods and thier power)
I been through junkies I been through it all
I've seen religion from Jesus to Paul ;D
Don't let them fool you with dope and cocaine
Can't do you no harm to feel your own pain
I found out

Not a second time
You know you made me cry
I see no use in wondering why
I cry for you yeah
And now youve change your mind
I see no reason to change mine
My cryings through ooh ooh
You were giving me the same old line
Im wondering why
You hurt me then youre back again
Oh no no not a second time
You say you spoke too soon
And now you want to change your tune
Well I do too yeah
You wanna try again
I got no reason to pretend
I aint your fool oh oh
You were giving me the same old line
Im wondering why
You hurt me then youre back again
Oh no no not a second time
Not a second time, not a second time
