"Bought some old magazines on Ebay, and they finally came in. Some are Teen Life from Sept-Nov 1966"
...WOW what an ebay find! I just love ebay. I've found rare music there I didn't think I'd EVER see again. But that's a great Beatle find. Thanks for posting some pics!

One more, because it's a good profile shot. (shows the right side of his face) From 16 Magazine, 1964. It's funny looking through these old mags, most of the "teen idols" are long long forgotten. Herman's Hermits, Dean Martin's son, Desi Arnaz Jr. to name a few. I'm trying to picture the collector of these magazines, I imagine a teenage girl of course. (could be wrong, you never know) She collected whole magazines, but she would also save pages from stuff like Time magazine, old newspaper clippings, etc. A real fan, bless her heart! I notice that there is nothing in the collection of Faul, other than his picture from the set of four pictures from the white album. She got turned off perhaps?

The local "oldies" station here plays the Hermans Hermits & Dino Desi & Billy & lots more every day. Any good oldies station still has all those band on a steady rotation. Luckily, we've got one of the best oldies station around.

Now that's interesting. Photo number one clearly shows the scar on Paul's upper lip that he supposedly got when he crashed his car or moped or whatever in 1966.
How is that possible?

Uh you got me, since this is from a magazine with a copyright date of 1964. true there is something that looks like maybe it's a scar or a problem with the scan, I don't know. I did a close up of the same pic. Here it is: I just don't see it. sorry.

I don't see it anymore in your blow up of it either. Weird. What I do see is that Paul's whiskers do indeed grow across the entire upper lip, which goes against some of the "evidence" that "Faul" had full growth across there, but Paul's was separated at the flume. And look at this photo. What is the discoloration above his lip? And you can see the beginning of the distinctive wrinkles that supposedly only "Faul" carries below his eyes.
