well i thought i would make a thread about where we can all share our stories about finding out about paul's death. i actually just became a beatles fan in march. my ex burned me the blue album (1967-1970) and i liked it a lot. my dad always liked the beatles, though he didnt have any of their cd's, cuz he likes queen better. but anyways, after i got the blue album, that was pretty much all i wa listening to. my dad had told me about the paul is dead "rumors" back in the 60's, and showed me some of the stuff on that cd. the first thing he showed me was "i bured paul" in strawberry fields. and that started my p-i-d craze. of course, my dad thought they only did it for publicity. (after showing him uberkinder's site i got him to change his mind!) and he sent me a link to www.turnmeondeadman.com where i learned about most of the clues. but that site had only told me about the car crash theory. sun king had posted on the message board for that site, and i emailed him, and he showed me the old forum. and from there i read 60IF. so now my eyes are open, and ive been getting people to believe, like Krysia. also my friend SilverShadow, who hasnt posted anything, but has joined the forum. so yeah thats my story, tell me yours!

I originally heard about the rumors when they first broadcast the Anthology program, in '94 or '95 I think. My brother had the White Album (on vinyl!) and the Revolver CD, and I thought there was definately something different about the faces. I had considered doing a facial comparison back then, even with the B&W glasses photo as well, but my computer couldn't do it and I just forgot about it. I stumbled onto 60IF about 4 months ago through a link at www.davidicke.com that said "We miss you, Paul." and I couldn't believe it; this was exactly what I had wanted to do! And yet even after seeing it, I kept fighting the idea for several weeks. I finally realized there was no logical way around the evidence; Paul really was dead! And so I set about gathering pictures and finding more evidence, particularly of the plastic surgery scars, and finally put the first version of my site together and e-mailed Sun King about it. He was rather glad someone else was finally on the case! The story really seems to be spreading through word of mouth now, and many people have included a link to us on their site without even telling me. I'm up to 50,000 hit since June 3rd, and that doesn't count the 1,000 or so from before that. The mirror has also gotten several thousand hits now. Hopefully this will snowball to a point where people will literally be protesting outside Faul's house! If I ever become a rich singer/songwriter, I'll be sure to organize a trip just for this purpouse!

I originally came across a web site about 2 years ago that dealt with clues about pauls death and discussed it with a couple of close friends of mine at my old office. One laughed and said i was gullible and the other was receptive but didn't think there was enough evidence. I let it go and didn't think about it after that for a long time until the same receptive friend sent me the link to sun kings web site and Uberkinders. from that day I was hooked, I read all the material but didn't have an outlet until this same friend (he’s persistent I’ll give him that.. ) sent me the link to the old forum and I haven't shut up since... ;D (........big hugs sun king....) (........big hugs Uberkinder.....) for all your hard work and for bringing us all together also (.........big hugs to number 9.....) for our new meeting place and our right to free speech....

Well, heres my story
It was Tuesday July 1st, 2003, and I was in Chocolate Moon (VERY good coffee shop) with Dan. We were just drinking (probally bubble tea) and we were getting up to write on the chalk board and talking about the beatles, when Dan goes "have you ever heard about the Paul is dead rumors?" When I said that I didnt, he started telling me all the clues and everything, and then we went in his car, and for the next half an hour, we just listened to Beatles songs and searched for clues. I was instantly hooked on it. So, after he droped me home, I obviousally went and listened to my Sgt. Pepper's CD (which was the only CD I had at the time) and found yet more clues. Then that night, Dan and I stayed on the phone until about 1 in the morning just searching for clues. We freaked eachother out so much that we actually had to stay on the phone with eachother until we were both laying down on our beds and about to fall asleep. I dont think I'll ever forget that day.
