It would be interesting if the alleged illigitimate children got togther and saw whether they shared a common parent through dna testing. No idea if it's possible. or works that way.

Thank you. I thought Nicola was a strange name for a boy. It seemed like a little girl's name and the child in MMT definitely looked female. 1- Nicola is a MALE name in Europe: Santa Klaus is the "nickname" of Saint Nicholaus. Feast on December 13th. 2- That on MMT was a girl instead. She was choosen for: -her name Nichola (strange for a girl here in Europe) -her resemblance with the true Nicola. Double Fantasy .... Feast on December 13th. nicola may be a boy's name in italy, but not everywhere in europe. in germanic-based languages (german, danish, swedish, norwegian, dutch, english (partly)) nicola is a girl's name, though not a very common one. plus, as far as i know, st. nicholas' day is december 6th. |

I was just showing some pictures of Poly-Vartan to a friend of mine who spent a couple years of her life immersed in the transgender community. I didn't tell her who she was looking at. She said the hands are always the tell. Out of the pictures I showed her, she said this was the biggest giveaway as far as mannish hands were concerned:  |

There are exceptions of course I'm sure but.. and I hesitate to suggest how to research this, LOL! ;D |

One thing about Fylvie, He didn't hold back on doing live performances, even from 1967. Maybe his voice was close enough to Sylvie's?

Some random observations and thoughts: According to Johnny Halliday's bioggraphy, he tried to commit suicide on Sept 10th 1966! Why? Sylvie had given birth to a son about a month before. Did he find out it wasn't his? Or was it because Sylvie was dead? My father witness: "It was told that Sylvie had a moped accidend with Johnny Halliday. After that she returned on stages and many didn't recognized her. So it was declared she had plastic surgery to fix the scars taken from that accident....but she was "so taller" too..." From Sylvie's biography: In February 70, she was in another car crash, this time with Johnny Hallyday. He came out of it unharmed but Sylvie was seriously injured. Extensive plastic surgery was necessary to re-build her face. She convalesced in New York, where she met Jojo Smith, Barbara Streisand’s dance master, who masterminded her future American-style shows.Were there 3 Sylvies then? I say this because we belive Sylvie was replaced at about the same time as Paul but this accident didn't occur until over 3 years later. But "she" looked diffrent from about the end of 66. Or was it becoming too obvious that "she" was different and so needed a major excuse to get plastic surgery? Most of that year was also spent in training! Training to be Sylvie? In Sept 96, "she" brought out an album called "Toutes les femmes ont un secret" - it was critcially aclaimed as the best in years and with that title it sounds like an album with clues to me! So...who can read French and translate lyrics?   Titled "Dead Sheets" - the leaves are the sheets? So Sylvie died in the woods in the fall/autumn season? |

A proper translation would be nice, yes. Suffice to say that poly-Vartan sings in this 1967 song that Sylvie and Johnny's story is not a funny one, but rather a sad and amazing one.
