"CLAUDIO BAGLIONI FU SOSTITUTO NEL 1990" As has already been announced, we have proved that Claudio Baglioni the most famous singer and top record-seller in Italy was replaced from November 15th 1990. Claudio's troubles started when he met Peter Gabriel in his recording studios. They did a concert together in 1988 for human rights. That's when Claudio started talking against corruption in politics. One day the press announced that on November 1989 Claudio had had a car accident and had probably died. The next album release was delayed by a year..... That news was dropped after a while but it is still in vintage magazines. After a year of no news about him there was a re-entry show on the Italian network "Canale 5" during the "Maurizio Costanzo Show" program. Many people (including me) didn't recognize the man presented as Claudio Baglioni. He had a pink flesh colour and two obviously fake eyes.... only the voice was convincing. After so many years I have the DEFINITIVE answer. Here the eyes/carunculas boundaries distance is perfectly equalized. As anyone can see faces features are perfectly different. After the first release of "The King Is Naked" Sbaglioncino (the nickname I name the faux-Claudio Baglioni) set up a concert with a giant sized photo of Paul McCartney (the true one!) behind his shoulders. We talked together for a few moments. Afterwards I worked with him.

Claudio Baglioni definitely knew "Sbaglioncino". I have a photo proving it. Can we see the photo someway? That would be interesting!

BP that is truly intersting. Talking against the politicos can often get a person in trouble in many societies.
Had he had serious facial injuries, some plastic surgery and recovery time would be necessary. Or extensive plastic surgery would require longer healing and more surgery time. However, it wouldn't make the changes as drastic as those indicated.

In this case we are more fortunate: we have full resolution photos to analize so we can perform the iris pattern analysis with a very good accuracy. As scientific reference please see: www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/jgd1000/iris_recognition.htmlSbaglioncino before and after the plastic surgery/make-up As you see Sbaglioncino under his contact lenses has green eyes. He "was" blonde too. A race of replacements?

They look like different irises to me, and different faces. btw.. how does one yell on the internet?

I don't know, the irises still look pretty similar to me, and the facial differences seem to me to be explainable by plastic surgery... I don't know, I could be wrong... His face reminds me of Bob Evans, like too stretched by face lifts...
You can definitely yell on the internet, AND NOT JUST BY TYPING IN CAPS... I just meant the tone...
I'm not just trying to be a naysayer... I've gathered that you're from Italy, BP... I'm more than willing to accept that this is a celebrity that I'm just not aware of so I wouldn't be able to recognize any difference, cause I've never seen him before seeing your pics of him (in an earlier thread)

looks like he's wearing contacts in the right picture... maybe they are colored? Yes he wears polaroid red/brown lenses to darken his green eyes. This is proven by the fact that the pupil hole is opaque. Iris dimension is clearly different. Please look better this pair of eyes. Can you see something strange? I am not talking about the color or the iris pattern now.... just looking better you find that....

I'm not sure I know what you are talking about... the bags under his eyes look a little yellow, probably had some makeup on there, older actors tend to put some makeup under their eyes to hide the bags...
also, HIS left (our right) upper eyelid looks a little larger/puffier than his other one.... that's all I see...
"... just looking better you find that..." <- I don't know what that means...

*ahem* A small, fleshy protuberance, or any structure suggesting such a shape.

This is unusual to me... pinched together ...

okay, I see that.... what we really need here is a plastic surgeon who can tell us what facial oddities CAN and CANNOT be caused by plastic surgery procedures... I see the pinched together thing, but it seems that that could possible be caused by an eye-job of some sort to correct droopy bags under the eyes...

He lost his caruncula.... So they could change his apparent eye width/shape ?

This is unusual to me... pinched together ... yeah, I noticed that too. strange, huh? Well, my eyes are both doing that thing in the corner near the tear duct, and I've never had so much as the first whit of cosmetic surgery on my afing mug. I might be needing it, but, meh, whatever. I'll just get old with the regulars, fine. That eye thing I think is a product of fatigue and aging, two areas I can personally claim. Now, if he had some "work done", as stars do, then fine. Maybe he IS a replacement! The little reddenned eye corners that are deforming aren't necessarily proff of plastic surgery. I am seeing that phenomenon in my own mirror as time wags on..... or bags on.........or sags on.....I mean drags on. Lags, tags, gags Too many "ag" words available. Overload. System shutting down.

You may have a barely visible caruncula Perplexed, but Claudio's is easily seen. They don't disappear with aging, as far as I can tell. Also the outer corner of Claudio's eye is different. His impostors upper lid seems to overlap the lower at the outer corner. Claudio's meet normally. I'm reminded of this.. posted by Moped. It's a picture of Faul's doctored eyes with caruncula painted over. Claudios impostor probably can't open his eyes very wide...

BP, I was wondering if the "new" Claudio sounds different from the original, or if musically there has been a change in his style?

BP, I was wondering if the "new" Claudio sounds different from the original, or if musically there has been a change in his style? I've got a Claudio Baglioni LP of 1972 and I do not find large differences of voice confronting it with today songs; about his style. I never see him live, but I can say that his songs seems always the same ones from 1970; he is not one of my preferred singers.
