BP, I was wondering if the "new" Claudio sounds different from the original, or if musically there has been a change in his style? Sbaglioncino's voice imitation is amazing. He was choosen for that. Claudio Baglioni's music and lyrics production got worse from 1990 to those last days. Sbaglioncino's behaviour was always deeply different from that to the real Claudio. Old fans were ALWAYS suspicious.... Lately Sbaglioncino has decided to retire himself from the scene.... Note: I've written "Claudio Baglioni was replaced starting from 1990" and NOT "Claudio Baglioni died on 1990"

Claudio Baglioni definitely knew "Sbaglioncino". I have a photo proving it. Can we see the photo someway? That would be interesting! Here it is! Taken from "Tutto" magazine of the December 12th 1990. From our left to the right: Pasquale Minieri, Claudio Baglioni, Celso Valli, "Sbaglioncino" Actually the photo was taken on 1988. I think a double for the major company is like an insurance. If something would happen to the real artist ... et voilà... money not lost.

that guy is about as blurry as Billy on the Bus, but it looks like he would be a good replacement for Claudio! He looks pretty Claudio-esque already! No wonder they chose him.

Esatto! The masquerade singer with the same voice of Claudio. (hey, another Iron Mask... ) I remember that "Anonimo Italiano" appeared on a TV program (Discoring?) dressing a mask. I CLEARLY remember that guy had blue/green eyes. Now the photo shows "Anonimo Italiano" with brown eyes... I think that the original "Anonimo Italiano" was Sbaglioncino (even after taking the role of faux-Claudio Baglioni)

An equation:
Billy Shepherd (Faul) : Vivian Stanshall = Sbaglioncino : Anonimo Italiano

Well, I may get the answer wrong, but, to me, it sure looks like it is the same person. With quite some time separating.

Well, I may get the answer wrong, but, to me, it sure looks like it is the same person. With quite some time separating. So Sbaglioncino is Alan Jones. He was with The Blackfoot Sue until 1977. Then he left strangely the music world. Who is called today Alan Jones could be another man.... A note: he is from Birmingham. A doubles nursery?

Here is the Blackfoot Sue Bio. Apparantly, Alan got out in 1977 because he was "sick" of the music business. www.blackfootsue.com/bfsbiog.htmAlan Jones is second to the left in this pic: I have to say, he definitely looks like a younger version of the "imposter".

Interesting. Alan went out the Blackfoot Sue WHILE Claudio Baglioni went out the RCA without any "apparently" reason. Interesting and ...there is more...

The man in the main picture is officially Alan Jones. The man in the small picture is officially Claudio Baglioni. Ask any surgeon: it will be told you it's just THE SAME MAN before/after a liposculpture session of underskin filler and make up. www.wordspy.com/words/liposculpture.asp
