As an off-shoot to the Did Paul Commit Suicide? discussion: Was Brian Jones replaced and his impersonatorkilled off at the end of the 60s? This idea came to me because I wonder about the first line of the song Dig It, which many believe is about other celebrities that have been replaced like Doris Day, Matt Busby, and BB King. But the very first line is: Like a Rolling Stone...Plus the lyrics to Dylan'sMr.Jones may apply to this. We need picture comparisons to check. I realise I may be reaching and this idea may turn out to go nowhere, but... ========================================================================================================================================================================================================My source for getting the above photos was via a serach engine. Look for yourself at www.alltheweb.com/search?cat=img&cs=utf8&q=%22Brian+Jones%22&rys=0&_sb_lang=pref&o=0. I got up to about page 13 before stopping so there may be more if anyone wants to check; I only got colour photos for better comparison. He seems to change alot from the early days - is it really just drugs that gave his face all those wrinkles?

...and.... please remember that Brian Jones was the ONLY Rolling Stone that worked with the Beatles BEFORE and AFTER the September 1966 .....
...and...
Please remember that "Dig It" was erased from the last infamous version of "Let It Be" by Faul himself....
So now the original version of "Let It Be" belongs to the original vintage "lost" documentation......

All he did was clap and look bored, but Mick was in the crowd for the "All You Need Is Love" broadcast. Surely Mick and the Beatles, all or some of them, bumped into each other at the "beautiful people" gatherings..

no. NO.
N O O O O !!!
what i mean is, in the late 60's brian was a well-known boozer and pill popper, who never could restrain his impulses very well even when NOT doing drugs. so it's quite possible that it was HIM who began leaking news of the replacement early on. rock stars being rock stars are notoriously loose-lipped....
so it wasn't a replacement that was eliminated in that swimming pool incident, it was brian, sadly with most of his personal problems behind him too, except for one-
THE FLIPPING F*****G REPLACEMENT....of paul.
it makes me wonder if this whole thing could have started with PAUL, the REAL one, somehow finding out about some earlier coverup. who knows? could he have unearthed something about JFK? marilyn monroe?

Brilliant as always. I believe the real Brian Jones was killed because of his having loose lips when stoned and/or drunk. He might have thought he was speaking to a confidante and realized too late that he made a major mistake. Dig it, sure is a perfect phrase. With all the bodies the Illuminati "produced", there would certainly be a lot of digging (graves). Wonder if any of the bodies or skeletons will someday turn up, having been found by a hiker or hunter?

I agree with unrepentant. Brian Jones looks gawdawful in those last two photos. Indeed? All that poor guy was guilty of was HAVING a conscience!

You'd think several decades had past, wouldn't you? He looked absolutely terrible. And it wasn't just hard living that aged him like that. Like Billy said, he had a conscience.

The same girl who was with Tara Browne in the car the day he died was the girlfriend of Brian Jones at the time of his death!!! What if...it was actually Brian Jones in that car and not Tara? Another coverup? We've got a couple of pics somewhere of Tara Browne but I haven't been able to find them. I just have this vague idea that he looks a little bit like Brian. Is it possible Tara was Brian's replacement? Probably not, as the later Brian looks so old and Tara was only 21 but still...

I wish I knew. I do think that they knew very well what happened to Paul & BOTH Brian's. What was their role in it all is anyone's guess.

In the meantime the record corporation, not knowing if the operation would be successful or not, decided to hurriedly publish a Xmas album of old songs of the Beatles without a photo on the cover but with one old photo retouched in the back; the color of Paul's suit was changed to black. And with this cover began the "hidden clues".
From 60IF Let's analyze that cover then..... There is an house upon a hill ...it's early evening.....people at the gate seem to recall those on the YELLOW car "....please be careful of..." The written Beatles (BTW the first one NOT "THE BEATLES") is very small OLDIES is very..BIG...instead PAUL DIES... I tell you my last find up: an RCA "Magical Mystery Tour" version by ......The Beatles..... ...that has nothing to do with the "original" one...... just a full "White Album" song style.....very similiar to Hellter Skelter.....

Here yah go, P.B.: Anything else? ;D Hey, wait, these pics are not of the same person. This is two different guys, here. The bottom one----older, nose projects more from face, more "krinkled", nostrils dont match. Top fellow looks to be 22, bottom guy about 29-32. Top pic, more resemblant of Dennis Quaid when young; bottom fellow is less handsome (sorry) and has wider eye space, it seems, plus bigger, eyes. Eye "focus" ,seems different (yes, I see they are not a matching angle, but still). Top pic suggests a person of of a lean, lanky but strong build, the bottom pic is of a more robust, fuller (but not fat) fellow. Head proportions don't seem to match (to me). Just opinions. Bottom picture LOOKS 60's vintage, top photo impresses me more as late 70's or 80's film stock-----but I could be wrong. I have no idea about this; my my instincts say that the bottom photo was Tara Browne, and tht other photo got mixed in by mistake.

Perplexed - wow. I didn't even look at them that closely. You might very well be right. Hopefully S.K. has more photos of Tara to compare them with & then give us a judgement call. I just posted them together, because since copying them, I thought they were both Tara. Sorry
