Just sharing what comes in my head:
I was hearing a techno track by L.A. Style called James Brown is Dead, and in, the light of all this replacement-illuminati-giving you the truth yet denying it thing, i thought inmediately:
can James Brown really be dead??
Doris Day, BBKing....
If it's a stupid question, my apollogies.

No, he's alive and well in South Carolina.
I know a singer who knows him; he's fine, he's been fine.
No replacement, no death. Jail time, yes.
He'e getting up there in years.............

Certainly possible. Haven't looked into the matter myself.
I would ask Perplexed how long his mutual friend has known James Brown. Any less than 50 years, he still could have been replaced. Remember the BBKing op apparently went down circa 57/58.

She does a lot of recording in my area. There are side men--studio guys in common. O worked with her in 2000-2002 and left that steady job. She sppoke of him during that time in a familair way. I can call and ask her. Im not thinking there is a mystery here. He just has ex-wife problems( I thnk ex, I can find out) etc partying etc. and has gotten older.

If your friend met Brown in 2000, she would have no way of knowing if he's the same man who was known as James Brown forty years before.

I forgot to call her. I worked with her from 2000-2002, I see my typo. O should be I. She had known him I think since the 70's, and not just her but another gal that I know recorded once also with Ray Charles. I will call the first lady (the second one I lost touch with). Stories about his arrests, drunk driving, unruly with police, his wife and their problems, abound. The common word is, he is a legend, he is up in years, he's been a great talent--Godfather of Soul, yes?,and he's older and chillin'. I think he is the original----there is no reason to replace him. Why? He alledgedly beat his wife, at one time, alledgedly----let me say it again, alledgedly, he carries on, drove drunk, did jailtime. Why would Tavistock, the CIA, or anyone else gain by him as a replacement? His life in South Carolina goes, as far as the media, relatively unnoticed. I hear things cause musicians are aoround, and a FEW times the news carried--a MENTION. But I will call my friend. I know she will say he is the original. But, at least she will say when they met.................

I don't know. I'm still unsure as to why B. B. King was replaced, but he apparently was.
Anyway, if your friend has only known the man since the 70s, that could still be 20 years after a possible switch, so her testimony would be rather pointless. . .

I think B.B. King's replacement was part of an experiment (at least three celebrities were replaced that we know of at about the same time) just to see if they could get away with it!
