For those not in teh US, Paul Harvey has been doing a 15-minute daily radio news program for decades and decades. It may be the He is at this point pushing 90 years old. His son, Paul Harvey Jr has worked for the father for quite a while, occasionally filling in. Recenlty "Paul Harvey" made some sickiening comments about how great torture etc is. Monday night, radio hosts Alex Jones and Jeff Rense were on the air analyzing these comments and they both agreed, that basedon following Harvey's carerr opver the decades they're rather certain that whoever did the broadcast in question could not have been the orginal Paul Harvey gioven the gravelly condiiton of his voice, even 15 years ago. They agreed it is likely the son imitating the father... Good day. www.paulharvey.com/bio.shtml

That's sad. Either he's senile, or someone pretending to be him. Either way it's a shame.

I would definitely be interested to hear more about this. It seems totally plausible to me that the son could occasionally fill in for his dad. This is the kind of thing that normal people might do and not even think they are doing anything wrong. The son would just think he was halping out his probably infirmed dad.

He was also famous for making up news stories. I remember 5 or 6 years ago there was a big controversy about it, but I can't remember what story it was.
