In Vincent Bugliosi's book "Helter Skelter" about the Tate/LaBianca murders committed by the Manson Family, there is a theory stated that Manson was receiving messages from the White Album. It was stated that Manson interpreted the song "Piggies" to mean the wealthy, upper class. "Blackbird" was about the oppressed African/Americans that would take over after a huge race war. "Helter Skelter" was to be the race war. "Revolution 1" has the clue "If you talk about destruction/Don't you know that you can count me out...in." Manson apparently saw this as the Beatles' and John's wavering on the race war and then deciding to take part. "Revolution 9" was said to contain messages that it was time to start the war (ie "Rise, Rise"). "Healter Skelter" (it was misspelled) and "Rise" were both written in blood at the LaBianca murder scene. At the Spahn Ranch, were the Family lived was a door that had "Helter Skelter" and "1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 6, 7, All good children (go to heaven?)" written on it. Now, what is interesting about the last quote is that it does come from a Beatles lp, but one that wasn't yet released when it was photographed by the police on the August 16, 1969 raid at the ranch.
What interests me about this Manson/Beatles connections come down to two things. One: did the Beatles (any or all) and Manson know each other through Dennis Wilson? After all, Wilson hosted Manson and members of the Family to the tune of a rumored $100,000 in damages to property and other expenses. Two: if there is a strong Illuminati connection with the Beatles (I'm not saying there is or isn't) could the Beatles have actually been trying to trigger people into automatic actions? This is a technique that gets used by groups like the Illuminati, right?
It should also be said that Manson drew parallels to the Book of Revelations and the coming of the end times with the Beatles. He apparently saw the Beatles as the four horsemen of the apocalypse whose "breast plates of fire" were actually electric instruments.
Could it be that Manson was finding some of the PID clues and badly misinterpreting them?
Anyone want to weigh in on this?
