This is so hard to explain that i'm not gonna try, i'll just tell you what i see and if anyone else can see it in the magazine, that'd be great! I see either a MMT magician, or someones nose and mouth and i see a lennon profile remarkably similar to the picture of him when he died

Sorry, but WHY is the magazine important at all?

Please take a look at this picture from Sir George Martin: As you know there's been much debate about if the man playing the piano was Bill or George Martin. No doubt he looks a lot like George Martin. Please, consider this: if you look at the "piano photo", you'll see a spot on the right eye-browse of whoever is playing it. If you look the GM picture above you'll see the same spot. This makes me think again that this man is in fact George Martin. BeatlePaul, please note that even if it's so, it doesn't mean that anything in 60IF isn't true at all. It's just that the picture is not from Bill. The mole above the right eye is the smoking gun, but it was not visible on the WA photo. The hairline, forehead, nose, cheeks are all GM. There is just no doubt. The notion that the piano man is a pre-surgery Faul should be omitted from the 60if story, as it only serves to disinform.

What was the caption on the photo Michelle?
I respectfully disagree with RedLion here. The skull shape is quite different to my eye.
I see Bill's dug profile no problem. Nose bridge to tip on piano man indicates a bump . Also the bridge is set back into the head. Ie a brow ridge
The pic The Question posted shows George to have a straight line from bridge to nose tip. His bridge is set out from his head. ie no brow ridge The outer corner eye wrinkles curve more prominently down on the piano man and more up on George.
Georges forehead seems more vertical, while the piano man's sweeps back more.
Yes there is a feature above the eye on both pic's but I still see two different men...
(The Military Surgeon?) Captain Marvel zapped him right between the eyes. Had to fill in that dip, that's why the Viv character had to wear glasses to cover this, post surgery.

Well I asked make-up experts (ex- Sun King team). Their response is that man is wearing gelatine prosthetics over his eyebrows, cheek, nose and chin that went to finish (drying). As reference see: www.sapsema.org/gelatin2.htmlGelatine prosthetics is the same type of make-up used by Freddie Williamson to build Bill as Faul. The man on that photo is simulating George Martin but he has moustaches.

The man on that photo is simulating George Martin For what exact purpose? Furthermore BP, if you are going to quote Apollo C. Vermouth, why not share with everyone who he said the 'piano man' is?

Im glad you agree BP, are you more inclined to say its a magician or perhaps prosthetics for a face?

Fantastic reply The man on that photo is simulating George Martin For what exact purpose? Showing that he was able to imitate anyone? What about his ego? Ok then...were the SK makeup experts on hand when this gelatin was applied? Or is it just their expert opinion based on a single 38 year old black and white photo? Showing that he was able to imitate anyone? What about his ego? There is zero proof of Bill being an imitator of anyone but JPM. And his ego is not relevant to this topic. I'am already sharing.... have you noticed that? Fine I will repeat my question. Who did Apollo C. Vermouth say that the 'piano man' is

Red Lion, you may have misunderstood something BP said. I am unaware of Apollo ever saying who the piano man is. He (Apollo) said it was more important to pay attention to what was on the piano.

There is no misunderstanding. I know exactly what ACV said about who the 'piano man' is and what to look for on that photo.

Michelle, any chance you could do another scan, focusing strictly on the pictures on the piano, and a nice sharp 300 dpi scan? If you can't host it, just email it to the address in my profile, I'll take care of it. PS: I'll make some George scans for ya..

That sheet is a Paul Raymond Bar Menu. What seems a magician hat and "R" leg is woman legs in a "can-can" pose. A mix of P and R with inside woman faces. Just the "Paul Raymond" bar logo Note: it's SO sad to see that after the forum "upgrade" I can post NO MORE pictures that previously worked here.
