Found on Outreau map a "circuit" like the one at the end of the "Magical Mystery Tour" Marathon. That road leads to a beach.

where is that thread where someone did the fade with the magical mystery booklet bull and the map?
whoever did that, please continue to do it with the rest of the booklet... when I first looked at it, I had the same response as the guy who posted right after it, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"... but then it was explained and it totally blew my mind...
I've been waiting ever since to see more along those lines...

That's GREAT ! ! ! ! Johnny Halliday's profile and the pistol are EXACTLY on Nice ! ! ! ! So James Paul McCartney had a brawl with Johnny Halliday and fellows for the little Nicholas: they left him on that hill near Nice like a fool.... The "Piper" was and still is a very famous discoteque in Rome that belonged to RCA. The table seems to be an arrow pointing toward Rome. The Beatles visited that place in 1964-1965

beatlepaul, thanks for the quick reply!
a couple of questions...
did you use the same map as in the bull pic?
was the map the same scale?
I seem to remember that in the bull fade, the borders of the panel matched up pretty well with the vertical lines on the map, I don't see that here... are they matched up off-frame?
I would like to see the ENTIRE MMT booklet (HQ) so I can play around with it.
I'd also like to see some info on the 2 or 3 most popular maps in England. Small differences DO exist in maps and they COULD account for things being slightly off.
I'm making a lot of requests here, I know.
Beatlepaul, could you make a fade that goes back and forth a LOT slower? Thanks for your work, I hope I don't piss you off.
Also, I'd like to see JUST the middle frame of that fade. No animation, just the map superimposed on top of the booklet.
What format was the booklet in? I've seen all of these cartoons but I have no idea what kind of "columns" or whatever they were arranged in originally. How many pages?
This map/booklet connection is awesome.

beatlepaul, thanks for the quick reply! I would like to see the ENTIRE MMT booklet (HQ) so I can play around with it. I am sad because new memebers here see only "View the 10 most recent posts of this forum" section. Your request is ALREADY satisfied at: 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=Essential&action=display&thread=1095200948All the slides have the TOP resolution avaible on the Net. So they are heavy to load. Beatlepaul, could you make a fade that goes back and forth a LOT slower? Thanks for your work, I hope I don't piss you off. Thank you but .... that REALLY FANTASTIC WORK was not from me... it was COMPLETELY from The DeZombificator. I don't know how to tell him: THANK YOU!

hey beatlepaul thanks for the quick reply...
I'm not sure what you meant by your sadness... using the search funtion to find things like what I was asking for is much less useful, in my opinion, than simply asking the knowledgable folk around here to point me the right way.
I WAS sure that these existed in the forums already and was just asking you to point me to that thread! I figured you probably knew the header it was under...
anyway, thanks a lot... I'll have fun playing around with these...

I agree that the search function has a poor interface, but hey we've just gotta deal with what we have been given i suppose I find it astonishing that these maps appear to fit so well, and that spot of the face in georges jacket is a great find. I was looking at the next pic after that (the one of the "marvellous lunch") and my attention was drawn to the "WHOOSH" it appears to be seperated into two words almost like "WHOO" "SH". Take the separation as being a straight line down, you get an "I" like "WHOO" "ISH" and the right had edge of the blue bubble shape containing the letters SH is like an "E" so, we could possibly get "WHOO IS HE". Just a bit of conjecture for you guys

re:WHOOSH --
Maybe it could allude to Paul & Sylvie (& child?) taking a plane to Rome after some kind of confrontation w/ Johnny Hallyday (whose reported suicide attempt was on Sept 10).

The keys in this fade are the strange bird ( It's perch string lies on a longitude line ) Georges hat brim/border and the gun pointed at Nice. 2 Pecks = Peaks Bersezio Peak # 2 Birds Eye Vinadio Argentara Georges hat is shaped and colored like a mountain of the maritime alps that form the natural border between Italy and France. Also George's oddly shaped right cheekbone and Jolly Jimmy's right forearm fall on the 44 degree line. Speaking of Jolly Jimmy , he and Wendy Winters jaw lines line up with border lines . Each one has fingers delineating the shore. The right half of the fade has Genoa and it's ferry line leading southeast. and the longitude line lining up with the pillar edge. There is a difference in the map projections, so there is some distortion and mis-alignment, but I am certain that the artist used a map similar to this and took the time to add checksums to let us know that we are on the right track. ie: monaco munch / pecks peaks etc. So , do all roads lead to ....? I wonder which panel is next?

Baron von Munschhausen!
Fascinating--you are working at this like an intelligence team decoding the war-time communications........"Argentara" peak (does that mean Silver Country?) looks like a man's head in profile, lying down looking up at the sky.
..."he livin' there still?"............

The Dwarf is on Pietrasanta. At Marina di Pietrasanta there was the other most famous (at that time) italian discoteque : La Bussola The "Piper" and "la Bussola" were the two most famous discoteques (where the Famous Bands performed) in Italy. www.fotopalmas.com/_indici/LC041229.htmVery probably Maritza Sannia performend at "La Bussola" and at the "Piper"

The column/arrrow is pointing from Genoa to Sardinia The table/arrow is pointing from La Spezia to Palau Sardinia The MMT Bus bar is poiting from Sardinia to Paris passing on San Remo. Semolina Pilchard climbing up the Eiffel tower Maritza Sannia (Semolina Pilchard) got success (from Sardinia) in Paris as Faux-Sylvie Vartan.

If Johnny "attempted" suicide then Nicholas was alone. Someone "took" Paul to his responsibility...

someone called bob gibson, according to the booklet credits. also, the editor was called tony barrow, with neil aspinall and mal evans as editorial consultants.

These things seem to match up so well! But, there are one or two places that dont match up so accurately, which makes me wonder why do so many match up exactly but then a couple of other places are inaccurate to a small degree but noticably so?

Ah... BTW The Beatles in 1965 performed in Genoa. They were contacted by RCA when in Italy. FOR SURE.

if i may, i'm wondering what "the fool on the hill" matches up with. especially his left hand that is shaped like a corpse. I can try: Brian that went to help Paul who was found "like dead" under that hill and carry him back to England. That sleeve .... The Sleeve Channel Surely this thread is The DeZombificator's "The Last Judgment"
