Hey there Total, speaking of Doris Day, Leslie Conn, David Bowie's (Jones) first manager, continued working with Doris (Foris) Day , managing her publishing company after he and David amicably parted ways in 1965.
David's next and first real manager Ralph Horton, also worked as a driver for the Moody Blues....

This is SPECULATION FOLKS : They all knew each other. I'm sure that all the current, & up & coming British groups at that time, knew that Paul had died & was replaced. They probably were told the story that it happened in a car crash. One that was due to his own carelessness, so that it was seen as a terrible tragedy. Keep your mouths shut. It will only cause more pain to his family & friends if you talk about it. So, out of respect to Paul's family & friends noone talked about it, & Bill was allowed to TRY to fill Paul's shoes. Like that's ever going to happen

But...I think they gave different people different stories about how he died so all these "insiders" have conflicting information. This is one of the reasons for the changing 60IF story. And this is the problem; it's all a giant puzzle but we somehow have to know how to pick the "right" pieces to put together.
IMO, I think Paul's body may have been found on the 27th rather than the 28th. I think the 28 "is found" is a wrong interpretation - the problem is the 28th is a Wednesday but the body finding was "stupid bloody Tuesday". I think that the original interpretation of the number plate, that he would've been 28 if he had been alive is correct, particularly in light of the fact that Abbey Road was supposed to be the last album and come out in the second half of 1970. The final track listed is "The End" and the word Beatles is broken up on the cover.

Ok, so how the 28 frame number in the Volkswagen photo in the White Album Poster, released before Abbey Road, can be explained?
Volkswagen in White Album(1968), 28 Volkswagen in Abbey Road(intended for 1970), 28
Both are connected.
If 28IF was for Pauls age, then the 28 in the WhiteA photo doesn[t fit for an age, doesn[t make sense.
28 being a date, or a km number, DOES make sense in both Volkswagen references
So, the lmw28if for pauls age is probably part of misinformation back in 1969
What if the Volkswagen/28 clue is a date (or a location, km 28) someone else was found dead inside that car, or near it?
Someone was found in "Stupid bloody Tuesday" and the next day someone else IS FOUND?
...........someone related to Paul??? Sylvie?? Paul guilty??
Like SK said, Abbey Road: 3 beatles surrendering Paul to the Police?

Wasn't it around '66 when David Jones changed his name to David Bowie? I always thought Bowie had a striking resemblence to Brian Jones...but that's a different story...
Here's a song that seems to have some clues in it...from Hunky Dory, 1972, David Bowie's "The Bewley Brothers":
And so the story goes they wore the clothes They said the things to make it seem improbable The whale of a lie like they hope it was And the Goodmen of Tomorrow Had their feet in the wallow And their heads of Brawn were nicer shorn And how they bought their positions with saccharin and trust And the world was asleep to our latent fuss Sighing, the swirl through the streets Like the crust of the sun The Bewlay Brothers In our Wings that Bark Flashing teeth of Brass Standing tall in the dark Oh, And we were Gone Hanging out with your Dwarf Men We were so turned on By your lack of conclusions
I was Stone and he was Wax So he could scream, and still relax, unbelievable And we frightened the small children away And our talk was old and dust would flow Thru our veins and Lo! it was midnight Back o' the kitchen door Like the grim face on the Cathedral floor And the solid book we wrote Cannot be found today
And it was Stalking time for the Moonboys The Bewlay Brothers With our backs on the arch In the Devil-may-be-here But He can't sing about that Oh, And we were Gone Real Cool Traders We were so Turned On You thought we were Fakers
Now the dress is hung, the ticket pawned The Factor Max that proved the fact Is melted down And woven on the edging of my pillow Now my Brother lays upon the Rocks He could be dead, He could be not He could be You He's Camelian, Comedian, Corinthian and Caricature "Shooting-up Pie-in-the-Sky" The Bewlay Brothers In the feeble and the Bad The Bewlay Brothers In the Blessed and Cold In the Crutch-hungry Dark Was where we flayed our Mark Oh, and we were Gone Kings of Oblivion We were so Turned On In the Mind-Warp Pavilion
Lay me place and bake me Pie I'm starving for me Gravy Leave my shoes, and door unlocked I might just slip away Just for the Day, Hey! Please come Away, Hey!
O.k., this song is such a treasure trove that it's almost unbelievable. Firstly,
"And so the story goes they wore the clothes They said the things to make it seem improbable The whale of a lie like they hope it was"
This line seems to suggest the whole Sgt. Pepper thing. They wore the clothes, the Pepper suits, they said things to make the replacement seem plausible, but it was a "whale of a lie"!
"And the solid book we wrote Cannot be found today", what could this book be. maybe a book detailing the introduction of Faul to the world.
Then he goes on to say it was "stalking time for the Moonboys", possibly a reference to Johnny and the Moondogs, Lennon's old band?
This next part clinches it for me...
"Now my Brother lays upon the Rocks He could be dead, He could be not He could be You He's Camelian, Comedian, Corinthian and Caricature "Shooting-up Pie-in-the-Sky",
I mean, come on!!!!
There are more clues in this song as well, but I'm sure you guys can pick 'em out! Have fun.

Hamlet, the body in the car was Brian's. Paul had NOTHING to do with Sylvie's death. He surely did NOT kill her ! Semolina - GREAT JOB ! There are more clues, you're right !
Noone woul suspect any foul play involving the Golden Boys, The Beatles !
He actually mentions Wings, Bill's band. He CAPITALIZED the word for a reason, folks ! He mentions dwarf men, the dwarf in MMT ? We were so turned on by your lack of conclusions. The fact that noone seemed to catch on was an actual turn on for those involved in the switch !
There's more. I would like to see someone else take up the torch !

Very nice Sister!
I was just checking out this stanza...
The Bewlay Brothers With our backs on the arch In the Devil-may-be-here But He can't sing about that Oh, And we were Gone Real Cool Traders We were so Turned On You thought we were Fakers
"Real Cool Traders"...Paul for Faul...pretty cool trade, absolutely icy if ya ask me!
"turned on"..."fakers"...hmmm...?
turn me on dead man
Also it seems the devil(a.k.a. Faul) was there but it couldn't be sung about...at least not sung about obviously...it seems everyone was singing about it in a sort of veiled code from Lennon to Bowie...I wonder who else knows?

I'm pretty sure that it was an inside joke among the rock & roll celebrities of that time period. Look what they did. they REPLACED Paul McCartney. I wonder what they're gonna do for an encore BTW - that Stanza is rife with meaning. Isn't there a famous ARCH in Paris

The lyrics to this David Bowie song have always freaked me out....it's from the Space Oddity album and it's called "Cygnet Committee"....
I bless you madly, sadly as I tie my shoes I love you badly, just in time, at times, I guess Because of you I need to rest Because it's you that sets the test
So much has gone and little is new And as the sparrow sings Dawn chorus for Someone else to hear The Thinker sits alone growing older And so bitter
I gave Them life I gave Them all They drained my very soul...dry I crushed my heart to ease Their pains No thought for me remains there Nothing can They spare What of me? Who praised Their efforts to be free? Words of strength and care and sympathy I opened doors that would have blocked Their way I braved Their cause to guide, for little pay I ravaged at my finance just for Those Those whose claims were steeped in peace, tranquility Those who said a new world, new ways ever free Those whose promises stretched in hope and grace for me
I bless you madly, sadly as I tie my shoes I love you badly, just in time, at times, I guess Because of you I need to rest, oh yes Because it's you that sets the test
So much has gone and little is new And as the sunrise stream Flickers on me, My friends talk Of glory, untold dream, where all is God and God is just a word
"We had a friend, a talking man Who spoke of many powers he had Not of the best of men, but Ours We used him We let him use his powers We let him fill Our needs Now We are strong
And the road is coming to its end Now the damned have no time to make amends No purse of token fortune stands in Our way The silent guns of love will blast the sky
We broke the ruptured structure built of age Our weapons were the tongues of crying rage Where money stood We planted seeds of rebirth And stabbed the backs of fathers Sons of dirt
Infiltrated business cesspools Hating through Our sleeves Yea, and We slit the Catholic throat Stoned the poor on slogans such as
Wish You Could Hear Love Is All We Need Kick Out The Jams Kick Out Your Mother Cut Up Your Friend Screw Up Your Brother or He'll Get You In the End
And We Know the Flag of Love is from Above And We Can Force You to Be Free And We Can Force You to Believe
And I close my eyes and tighten up my brain For I once read a book in which the lovers were slain For they knew not the words of the Free States' refrain It said
I believe in the Power of Good I Believe in the State of Love I Will Fight For the Right to be Right I Will Kill for the Good of the Fight for the Right to be Right
And I open my eyes to look around And I see a child laid slain on the ground As a love machine lumbers through desolation rows Ploughing down man, woman, listening to its command But not hearing anymore Not hearing anymore Just the shrieks from the old rich
And I Want to Believe In the madness that calls now And I want to Believe That a light's shining through Somehow
And I Want to Believe And You Want to Believe And We Want to Believe And We Want to Live Oh, We Want to Live
We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live
I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live
Live Live Liiive

So km=kilometers instead of 28 miles ....28 km from or to where?

Here's a comparison of the coast of France near Boulogne sur Mer and the "map" that magician Faul points at and then announces that the Mystery Tour Bus is 10 miles north on the Dewsbury road. (such a rash from the nose prosthesis;) ;D, perhaps a reason why Bill leaves it off most of the time) To give an idea of scale, the distance from Boulogne to Cap Gris Nez ( Grey Nose Course ) is 10 miles due north

My question is why would he say miles and not kilometers? I have found 15 Dewsbury Road references in Britian on the web page: www.multimap.comThe only Dewsbury Road that does go north and is long enough is A653. It is also known as the Dewsbury Road. It starts at Dewsbury and goes all the way up to Leeds. Multimap lists miles not kilometers.

does Faul say north ON the Dewsbury Road or does he say North OF the Dewsbury Road?
There are at least 10 Dewsbury Roads in Great Britain, Semolina. Why do you believe the MMT started in London?

.....and the reason it is called Grey Nose Course, is, of course, because it is attached to a face... Hey looks a bit like Bill! Just Kidding! Ringo noses out the same map oriented differently....note the position of the 'mouth' of the "urn"... another copy of the map exists at the top of the blackboard oriented like this one Note that on tip of the geometric figure (stellated dodecahedron) is pointing at the dip , corresponding with the 'mouth' of the face ( Boulogne sur Mer) Maybe the Hel (i cop) ter went Helter Skelter near these cliffs and Paul drifted not too far.....

Exactly, throughout my whole lifetime i have always given distance in miles, height in feet and inches, drink (like milk) in pints and weight in stones and pounds, although, more recently food and drink have become metric like 1 litre or kilogram but they still put the imperial measurements on them.
