So since the "Paul is dead" thingy has been about for decades, I will stand by my premise that a) I know several collectors who have orig. signed, handled material by the 'real Paul' and the later 'false Paul'....and so... b) I challenge anyone who still believes he was 'replaced' to belly up and show some latent print (palms count too) evidence they are not the same person, samples of prints are easily available. This should be very cut'n'dried. Unless the 'false Paul' is indeed wearing Paul's skin, but methinks mid-60's tech disallows that theory. The most simple forensic test in the book is prints; show me prints that differ consistantly and I'll believe there is a 'false Paul'........I believe this road has been travelled already- in the 70's.

Unless the materials touched by Paul haven't been handled by anyone else in the almost 40 years since he was around then it's going to be extremely difficult to lift his prints...

Blood type? Thanks for the welcome! OK, while it'd be difficult for me to insist on breaking out my friends decades-old-hermetically sealed pre-67 memorobilia and 'dusting' it, I don't think a person w/a point to prove would have a hard time getting the 'real Paul's prints', only a few matches on some items (gee, he wrote letters...gave away books...not like he lived in a glass box....) would be acceptable. The police records in Tokyo would then have a different set of prints, if the theory is true. I think most true collectors haven't scrubbed thier items down nor have then been handled recklessly....That's sorta the nature of collecting. I'm admittedly not determined enough to pursue this on my own. If I did, the BEST forensic comparison would be easy.....get any Macca blood relative, offer them $100 for a strand of hair,DNA type it, repeat process on 'fake Paul' relatives. Small investment to 'make millions finally breaking the story w/evidence!' Nope, don't see that happening.....I'll think of something better soon, but that one would be easy if you believed it enough to pursue it.....would settle the matter, no?
