just one thought about the story of Brians and Pauls' death,
what happened to the first girl who was with them and where were the bodies buried? I also don't understand why Lennon would shout out "I am the walrus not Paul?" it just seems so random even if the mangled body looked like a walrus.
anyway thats just my thoughts

Lennon, saying "I'm the walrus, not him.."...strikes me as if John was was saying "kiss my *ss.", essentially.
Like if some enemy says to you, "Your sister is a slut!"
You are insulted, and you knee-jerk rush to defend your sister's honor by bluting out, "A slut? A slut? What d'yah mean, a slut? I'll show you who's a slut. Come here and I'll show you what-for about a slut, you bast**D!" And the punches start flying.
So it may have been, "Walrus? I'll show you who's the walrus! Come here and take a punch from this walrus, you %^&@$!!!"

Also, when confronted with unexpected tragedy in the form of death, people often fly-off and lose it and say things which don't make sense. They are in shock. That is what MIGHT have happened at the site. I can very much believe John & george wanting to go to the discovered crime scene; they were very much 'SHOW ME' types of people. And when they finally really did see the body, that in their brains drove home the reality that Paul was dead. That is when the shock set in for them. Hence John flying off and losing it a bit. Psychologically, that is why funeral homes are so hip to have relatives view the dead corpse of their loved ones. They think the finality of seeing them laying in the box will help the mental disengagement of the loved one's death. I disagree personally. I feel we should remember those we love in our minds and hearts as they were ALIVE, not a ghoulish empty body all made up with that slight smile on their faces...ugh. Open casket funerals are barbaric.
