But what if the they really communicate with the living? ?? Remember George was seriously into Eastern culture and religion and believed in reincarnation........What if they are cannot move on because of what happened to Paul? .

Let's all try out EVP. EVP is Electronic Voice Phenomenon, a process by which the dead through sound communicate with the living. You record sound in an empty room and you play it at a low frequency. A person's voice is between 300 & 300MHz. If you lower the frequency below 300MHz, you could pick up voices. Sometimes you don't even need to lower the frequency.

Yeh, i've heard of that TPI, it's kinda freaky But, it's strange you brought this up byrds because, i was writing a post featuring a quote from a beatles song which is also a common phrase and it made me think, maybe not so much on the later songs, but on the earlier ones, there were so many phrases that are now commonplace, it made me wonder, are those phrases that the beatles have "inserted" to modern english or were they already in widespread existence?

I have heard you can run a tape recorder at night; one with variable speeds and pick up some fantastics sounds... ;D ;D YOu have to be able to slow it down because those on another plane often move very fast.

It's true you can run a tape recorder and sometimes pick up "Voices from beyond" but note with an analog tape recorder you need white noise to pick it up like a running fawcet or static from a tv. Digital recorders pick it up without the white noise.

A word of caution to anyone who does EVP collection, much of what is recorded is echoes of the past, but some is of spirits present in the here and now. They might, if disreputable, pass themselves off as being people they aren't if it serves their purpose. They might say they're Paul if they feel that will give them a link to the world of the living. In that case it's no different from using a OUIJA board without protection. It's like leaving your front door open to see if anyone comes in. That is not a safe way to communicate, and has the potential for creating serious difficulties in a person's life. You hit that right on the head there, Byrdsmaniac. Thank you!

I also wanted to add that Philip K Dick and Richard S Shaver are both highly influential Science Fiction writers and both claimed to have had highly unusual experiences in their lives, which led to their writings...

What if everything we used to believe about reality was false?
What if nothing is real and there's nothing to get hung about?
What if there is an implicate order of infinite possibilities just starting at the edge of our 5 sense perceptions?
I once wrote a poem with the line "all dreams must die to become realized" I hope I can find that one again. Here's a poem I wrote about this whole case.
"I see yer stageshow And I feel mine Luring me in, singing songs of beauty Chasing me on with yer New World Order Shakespear Bacon McCartney Shears All the same Humans nitemaring of electric shepherds Mechas dreaming of electric sheep You and I Spinning Visions between us Never caught Always Dancing
-Jan 22-12-04"

Hey, just try the tape recorder, even run it at night You can get some really wonderful things. But you must have variable speed. I wouldn't recommend it if you live in a house where something horrible happened unless you are really brave!
