'Mother People', by Zappa We are the other people We are the other people We are the other people You're the other people too Found a way to get to you . . . Do you think that I'm crazy? Out of my mind? Do you think that I creep in the night And sleep in a phone booth? Lemme take a minute & tell you my plan Lemme take a minute & tell who I am If it doesn't show, Think you better know I'm another person Do you think that my pants are too tight? Do you think that I'm creepy? Lemme take a minute & tell you my plan Lemme take a minute & tell who I am If it doesn't show Think you better know I'm another person Better look around before you say you don't care Shut your f*ckin' mouth about the length of my hair How would you survive If you were alive Sh*tty little person? We are the other people We are the other people We are the other people You're the other people too Found a way to get to you We are the other people We are the other people We are the other people You're the other people too Found a way to get to you Do you think that I love you . . . Stupid & blind? Do you think that I dream through the night Of holding you near me? Lemme take a minute & tell you my plan Lemme take a minute & tell who I am If it doesn't show Think you better know I'm another person O.K., now I think this is self explanatory, especially when the cover of the album is a Pepper parody. It seems to me to be about the whole Paul Is Dead thing. The other interesting thing is that on the original album, there was no apostrophe in the title of the album, "Were only in it for the money". On this c.d. re-issue, it was changed to "We're only in it ...". Without the apostrophe, however, it takes on the whole past tense thing, like: " they were only in it for the money", like, the Beatles perhaps? Comments? Suggestions?

Semolina, The Paul replacement clues were probably obscured by these other lyrics at the time this came out:
"Do you think that my pants are too tight? Do you think that I'm creepy? Shut your ...... mouth about the length of my hair
Found a way to get to you"
People who would have bought this album when it came out as teens and twenty- somethings heard their parents, aunts and uncles lecture them constantly about how they'd 'never amount to anything, looking like that' (meaning having long hair, etc. ). The 'found a way to get to you' was many of our attitude toward the never-ending lectures. The PWR message barely noticeable at the time.

Zappa's dress is similar. But, all the other band members are dressed as female also. Sem, that is a wonderful clue. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The young man in the middle of the B&W picture playing what appears to be a bass-----left-handed------whoever that is, the physique is proportional to the lady in the color picture above it. That's all I am saying. The builds are similar, the apparent relationships between joints. etc. THe face in the black and white is too indistinct to recognise, though George and Lennon are plain enough. Which may mean nothing at all. Just pointing out something I noticed.

Perplexed is right on the button. The ''lady'' in the MMT still is very Paul-ish. Much more so than Faul!
"She" appears to be the same one sitting behind Ringo and the Fat Lady on the MMT bus.
We appear to have two, maybe three, people wearing this black dress with white collar:
1. The very Paul-ish looking "lady" afforementioned. The one that Perplexed is comparing to the B&W picture of JPM. This "lady" also appears to be the same one seated behind Ringo and The Fat Lady on the MMT Bus. The one smiling. This is the person I believe looks like a very ill JPM.
2. The lady said to be from the fan club (what's her name?). The lady in the the b&w close-up picture with John drinking from a bottle.
3. The "lady" that we see in the b&w pic from the MMT booklet in the dining room. The same pic that has the two false pauls in it. We see the "lady" from a profile view. This lady also seems very Paul-ish.
4. The "lady" featured in the upper left corner of the b&w photo that comprises the last page of the MMT booklet. This one looks different from the others, as well.
Has anyone else noticed the apparent different people all wearing this dress? And now Zappa, too? Apparently, this is also another gigantic clue that no one caught on to.
I think these are different people in these photos. Maybe one of them is the true JPM.

To me it appears that the young man in the middle of the B&W photo is not Paul at all..........maybe it was one of the first experiments with photo tampering and they messed up the picture.
One more time: Paul was never a female; never feminine; nor was he bi.
No one would even be thinking along these lines if Bill hadn't tried so hard to ruin Paul's reputation with his flamer behavior

Well i'm sorry but i have to agree about the dress, that is surely no coincidence, but madtitan, i'd be interested to see where else you've seen this dress.

Zappa was the leader... the Pepper reference is more than clear so... Zappa died young too... Another revolutionary lost....

Excellent comments...interesting dress theory, hadn't even thought of that! I've been trying to guess the people in the picture, and if anyone has any ideas that would be great. I do see Lee Harvey Oswald in the famous getting shot in the gut pose, he's in the upper right.
Anyone recognize anyone?

Jimi Hendrix to the right of Zappa. Nosferatu (the vampire) the yellow head. (About 80% sure; could be wrong).

Paul Simon next to Zappa in the lace collar dress. LBJ in the center with the red nose and sunglasses? Upper right corner looks like the face from the cover of "The Covert War Against Rock," but I don't know his name. A green Lady Liberty just left of Paul Simon and then a profile of LBJ (again) in the top row (?)

Yeah, I thought that was LBJ, but I don't think that's Paul Simon, I think it's Bunk Gardner, one of the Mothers.

What I do find most interesting is that Ray Collins, seated in front with the full beard, although pictured on the album actually quit the band and was not on the recording. He was the lead singer for the Mothers first two albums. Then, to top it off, on the inside of the album, there are the lyrics, just like on Pepper's and the band is at the bottom, but instead of one of them with their backs to the camera, all of them do but one, Ian Underwood who faces the camera. He is not on the rest of the cover, but just in that one picture. I think that is a bit of a statement. One more thing, at the top of the picture...LIGHTNING!

Actually I made a mistake, the guy with the full beard is Bunk Gardener. And it is Motorhead Sherwood, not Ian Underwood facing the camera on the lyrics page. Here's the flip side:
