I was in seventh heaven all night. Fantastic. I have too much to say, to even remember much of it right now. Details to follow. (I'll make notes first.) My main reaction:
Wow! He put on a great show. They rocked, they did nostalgia, they did Beatles, Wings, 90's billy, C&C, and it was in there. What a terrific set of guys in the band. There is no end to the technical splash. Macca gives 110% up there on that stage, man. The whole crew did. World class. I'll stop gushing for now.
I sure am glad I went.

Let me grab the vaseline jar before the next jab! I express myself based on the wonderful show I just attended, and you went there? I am sorta confused. I thought that you generally had respect for him? More than to imply that! I have been seeing how committed he is; creative, talented. He sang his *** off last night; he played strong on everything; the show was well directed and I'm sure he created or co-created it. The band was solid. The event spoke well of him. It was a marvelous rock and roll event. I do not feel ****ed at all. Why should I? I am not ever ready to be ****ed. That is somebody else, not me, thank you.

So it was good for you? ;D
I'm curious what you paid for a ticket, Perplexed.
(And, yeh, I'm a little jealous, I guess. Did you yell, "Hey Bill!" or anything?)

Heh well thanks for the review, I'm going next Tuesday, so I guess I'm ***ed too.. (I could say something else..well never mind..) We go, we enjoy, even though we feel he's Beatle Bill, wow, imagine that. Yes Byrds it's expensive, and that's a choice Perplexed and I have made, it's just between us and our bank accounts. The Stones, U2, and a number of others are overpriced, that's just the way it goes..

Did you yell, "Hey Bill!" or anything? ...that's right...A day when he will declare "Ok, ok I am Bill" then I will be on the first row to see and applaude him. Only on that moment....

And I'm sure he'll care. "F*ck me, did someone say something" Glad you had a good time perplexed. ;D I can say I am extremely jealous!

Yes Byrds it's expensive, and that's a choice Perplexed and I have made, it's just between us and our bank accounts. I wasn't passing judgement; I was curious because they say tickets for the NYC show are going for 3 grand (scalped). I just wondered what the going rate was.

No offense Byrds, I just feel like the next remark is going to be: "you paid (whatever) dollars to see that fake??" (I'm not saying you will) Just Google "Paul McCartney Tickets" and you will be presented with a multitude of scalper sites. The one I used: www.stubhub.com/

And now from the PWR angle..
I mentioned this at Nothing Is Real, but in case you missed it, the man I saw at Boston a couple of weeks ago has blue eyes. Not green or hazel, but blue. Surprising, in that he didn't seem to care, but one other thing, he was not a real tall guy, 5' 10" tops, and he had heels on his shoes that may have bumped it up an inch or two. (one thing that fits, and one that doesn't, crazy, eh?) Yeah I was close, and that was freaky after doing this for two years, heh.
Surreal moment: He leans over to my friend and I, and makes like to hand us the Hofner, then takes it back, saying oops sorry I can't, it's not mine, it's his.. (then points to a stage hand)
