OK, been there, done that. Back here again. Still wondering. Where is the profit in 2004?

Where is the profit today in keeping the secret of a swapped Paul, altering pics and film, threatening people, buying silence? Would people stop buying Beatles product if they knew there were 2 Pauls? are you kidding me... ;D the beatles cd, dvd's and video's are still some of the biggest sellers ever.. do you think that people would be interested in the beatles if they found out that paul had been replaced?.. i know i wouldn't have

Yes, I absolutely believe that. I believe if they admitted today that a swap happened and a cnn poll was taken, the vast majority would say "We don't care if there was 1 Paul or 17 Pauls. We love the Beatles!"
Point is, there are easier and cheaper ways to make $ than a neverending Beatles hoax that isn't even necessary.
Just MHO, of course!

your right chris it could go both ways.. their would probably be a spike in sales for a short time generated by morbid curiousity seekers but spikes are short lived.
i think the big test would be the collectors who think they have their hands on valuable original beatles matterial only to find that they have been snowed and its not worth squat..

But a valuable original white album, for example, is still a valuable original white album, whether it has Paul or Faul. John, Faul, George and Ringo are still the one and only Beatles.
Example, the Rolling Stones are still the Rolling Stones and Brain Jones is long gone.

Remember who? I was talking about Zak Starkey, drummer of the Who. I think his dad was famous or something.

Good stuff, Chris!
It's like you said, though...beating home an obvious point! Is the world ready for the truth? Hmmmm.....
Nah. Then they would be forced into inspecting EVERYTHING that is told to them. Anyway, who has time for that.
If people came into the realization that everything they hear ISN'T true, that would just be too much for most everyone to accept.
Things'll never change, just cuz it's easier to accept the lie. That doesn't mean WE have to fall for it, though!
Again, thanks for the hard work & great pix Chris!

I've added two new pictures to the "Evolution of Faul." Go back and take a look if you want to see them in in the chronology of the others, or just see them here... First of all, here's a new Melody Maker Awards shot... ...and here's the entire portion of the other image I added. William Sheppard returning from Kenya in the autumn of 1966. Hey, Bungalow Bill...

Thanks, Wings! Where did you find those Kenya pictures of Bill? Were they supposed to be photos of Paul?

The latest Kenya shot (and the Melody Maker one) was from a book called "The Beatles: Unseen Archives," and yes, he was being presented as Paul to the press already. Sun King had the other ones on the site, so I'm not sure where he got them (but he was being called Paul then too). They tried to avoid too much public exposure for Bill before he got the first major surgery done, but sometimes they had to explain who that guy was, and so they came up with the "Arabian disguise" explanation, and hid him behind his mustache.

Never noticed before! In the second picture Bill has still the "Pepper" nose!!!

And look at his weird puffy lips, especially the bottom lip, just like the Pepper pic and nothing like Paul's. In the "Hey Jude" video you can clearly see a white line along the bottom where they appear to have taken some material out and maken them slightly lopsided like Paul's, along with the other, pretty obvious scar above his upper lip.
I know I said I wasn't gonna be debating evidence, but it's so much easier with no trolls!

What really gets me is Bungalow Bill's super-long torso, in that new (I've never seen THAT ONE before!) pic on page 4 of this thread, posted by Wings:
"...and here's the entire portion of the other image I added. William Sheppard returning from Kenya in the autumn of 1966. Hey, Bungalow Bill."
This falls right in line with the frame posted earlier from the Day In The Life video, where Faul dwarfs (who is standing behind him). He makes George look like a Keebler elf!
Does anyone out there have a copy of the cover of the Beatles CD "Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 5"?
Notice how Faul is leaning against the car and slouching to create the illusion that he is the same height as John & George, whom by the way are standing up straight!
This pic is also another great example of Faul's too-large forehead and totally different hairline and opposite part in his hair.
If you were to uncover this much forehead on James Paul, his hairline would start at the top of his head!
Not only that, if you were to part Faul's hair the same as James Paul's, and have his bangs the same length (in other words, put JP's hair on Faul) you would have one strange looking character!
I'm not even sure if its possible, because of the immense difference in head shape.
If only someone with the technical know-how could graft pix of James Paul's hair onto Faul's face and vice-versa, I do believe we would have another incredible body of evidence!
For example: imagine JP's hair from Butcher cover on Faul's face from Sgt. Pepper (pic before alterations). They don't match. And that's not even considering the ears!
Even though there are some similarities, they're two different men.
Like I said Uberkinder, you were right the first time: He is a BadWrongFalsePaul! And take care of yourself (saw pic)! Ouch!

Wow guys, let me just say that you've done a great job compiling pics. And thanks Wings for putting them in order like that.
You know...I was thinking, maybe in a hundred years or so, this whole PID thing will be old news. Our great grand children will joke at how stupid this (and last) century's people were to believe that "Paul" was one man.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work.

What strck me about that first Kenya photo is that Faul looks to be in his forties! - how old would Paul have been at the time of that photo?

I'd say early 40's . The hair looks unnaturally dark . Certainly , this man had not seen the sunny side of 25 in a long time !

I'd say early 40's . The hair looks unnaturally dark . Certainly , this man had not seen the sunny side of 25 in a long time ! "I went with hubby to get some information on his family. He's into geneology stuff. We went to a little place called Shawville up in Canada. It's not too far from the capitol. He wanted to get some information on some relative, a Reverend Plager who died in Nov. 1966. He was only 44 when he died! Anyway we went to some place not far off Route 303 to do some research looking at old newspapers. I was getting some information from a paper called The Equity, and they had a story about a missing person named William Shepherd. Seems he had been missing for a little while. It's ashame, because he had just gotten married on Feb. 12, 1966 to some girl named Karen. That's the other coincidence, because my first date with hubby was on Feb. 12th."Taken from: 1966.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1105897553I don't know if true but it sounds plausible.

Someone called "gorfstriangle". I have a feeling it's "Openmind" telling tales again. Just a little too good to be true, don't you think?

Could be tale telling, but on the other hand, it's possible (but not easy) to verify.
Remember the song John wrote and then gave to Ringo to sing. (although there is an early version with John on vocals)
I looked in the mirror, I saw my wife and kids, And you know what they told me...i was great.
Yes, my name is billy shears, You know it has been for so many years. Now i'm only thirty-two; And all i wanna do, is boogaloo!
Could there be a wife and kids left behind?
