Sorry to be double-posting but,
I was just reading an exerpt from the Clash interview with Paul-
There choice of words @ the end of his response i found interesting......as Bill always has a way with them.
Question- Also, George said that his heart wasn’t in the album, that it was still in India, and that he felt it was becoming more like a job and he was losing his enthusiasm for being a Beatle. To this end, with little interest from George, minimum participation from Ringo and John’s dismissal of a concept album, would you say that ‘Sgt Pepper’ is primarily your album?
Response- I don’t know. I kind of started off with the concept thing – we never called it ‘concept’ by the way, just like we never called it ‘Merseybeat’; these are just words. “It’s a concept album”. Oh, is it? No, it was an idea. And I suppose you could say that it’s kind of similar to this new album, ‘Memory Almost Full’. It’s me trying to turn myself on most of the time, which I think if you look at any band, any musician, any artist, it’s sort of often what they’re trying to do in a way, trying to reach people with their ideas. But in doing so they’re trying to make it alive for them. So the whole thing of a concept thing, I just happened to have this idea that what we should do is just pretend to be some other band. It was kind of as simple as that. We had the idea – or I had the idea – for ‘Sgt Pepper’, and then just sold it to the guys. I said, “What if we all do this thing?” And they all said, “Yeah, okay, it looks quite interesting”, you know? But it was me sort of pushing the idea. I think to analyse it and to break it down to who did what is really a bit of a red herring. We all were making this album and it was a crazy idea and it was the summer and we all wanted to do it. The media were all saying, ‘They’ve dried up. The Beatles have dried up. They’re finished.’ We were all sitting like the seven dwarves – the four dwarves – tinkering away in the diamond mine going, ‘Hee hee, we haven’t finished you know!’ We knew what was coming, you know? And then it broke. BANG! Mid summer in London, a day like today and man, it just went on fire! --(another diamond ref., eh? or perhaps i've read into it a bit too much)-- We released it on the Friday and Jimi Hendrix opened with ‘Sgt Peppers’ opening song on the Sunday. He’d learned it – Jimi Hendrix had learned it? Come on, man! Give it up! Not bad. So, you know, it was my idea, but we all executed and we’re all very much a part of it.
hmmmm....... raises a few questions in my mind.

You thought right, my mistake,
"Perhaps no babysitter in history got a bigger break than Eva Boyd, who baby sat for songwriters Carole King and Gerry Goffin. King and Goffin asked her to record a song they had written called "The Loco-Motion".
Eva Narcissus Boyd was born June 29, 1943 in Bell Haven, North Carolina. In 1962, she moved to the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn where she had relatives. One of her relatives new the Cookies and suggested her as a stand-in. So whenever one of the Cokies couldn't get out of class, Eva subsituted for her. Since the work was sporadic Eva often found herself babysitting songwriters Carol King and Gerry Goffin. Returning home one day they found her singing a song theyhad written for Dee dee Sharp. They Liked what they heard, so they rushed her into the sudio, with King doing the backing vocals.
Remembered by most as a one hit wonder Litle Eva was more than that. Her voice had a sullen edge to it that worked best when she played the hurt, abandoned girl. For an inexperienced girl, that had previously only sung in church, she possessed an unique knack for phrasing. Her follow-up to "Locomotion," "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby" told a story of a close friend who tried to move in on her boyfriend."
& I thought that "keep your hands off my baby" was a beatles song.......looks like I was wrong again. who was it that said the best rock'n'roll songs were all stolen?--- maybe they were onto something?

If you're referring to the words of 'Imagine ' (which is now considered by many to be a pro-NWO song), they did not convey John's message to the world.. The song was written under duress, to appease others in control. If you're interested in John's messages to the people, try listening to 'Working Class Hero" or "Crippled Inside".

read between the lines- all three of those songs convey the same message-- And i don't think that "imagine" is that easily disected.
There is so much more to life than what we are conditioned to believe a "fulfilling" life is supposed to consist of.
It's like the story of the indians that couldn't see Columbus' ships on the horizon because it was so radical to anything they had every seen before-- The medicine man of the indian community saw that the waves crashing on the shore had altered & after staring in the distance for much time, he finally saw the ships. Because he was a much respected spiritual advisor in the tribe, once he told the others that ships existed, & they too were soon able to see them.
the human naked eye is only able to see what it believes or is conditioned to believe is possible, once you open yourself up to new possibilities, your in essence opening your mind & vision to being able to see what transcends physical matter.
John lennon was a modern day medicine man trying to open up the general publics eyes to what life actually consists of, past all material neccesity.

There is so much more to life than what we are conditioned to believe a "fulfilling" life is supposed to consist of. What I meant was, the song 'Imagine,' although written to appease TPTB, (by including certain references pointing to a utopian system etc), it did not perhaps convey Lennon's message as clearly as some of his other more rebellious offerings.. there is no doubt in my mind, that when John sang this song to the world, it was from an entirely different perspective & had a totally different meaning to the interpretation of those that had 'placed the order', if you like. John was always one step ahead of the bullies, he was an exceptionally clever, strong-minded man, even though by his own admission, he spent the last years of his life paralysed with fear. Your description of him as a "modern day medicine man", is quite delightful, by the way.

Oh you two are so above it all, aren't you. too bad my personal opinion that Paul's replacement isn't the epitome of evil has classified all of my previous posts as non-intelligible. I guess it's about time for me to join a less judgmental forum, sad really. Ahem, have you read any of my posts? I have never condoned the Faul-bashing that goes on, so do your research blu. And the reason why I'm "so above it all" for saying that this forum has had it's day, is because when I joined nearly three years ago, it was an active hub, yet now it is a little tired IMO, but you wouldn't know that would you? Due to the fact that you jumped the gun and took the piss.

what's up with this "prometheus team"-- wasn't he the one that had a "problem" with zeus? Isn't he supposed to symbolize the snake in the garden of eden? & Zeus was upset with him so he sent pandora to reap his revenge or something to that effect? is it just a coincidence that the title of this forum has the words King Snake in it?

And is Paul still worried about being discovered? That would partly explain why he never came forward when the Beatles broke up. I wonder if his retirement from being the Apple head had something to do with it.

www.bobdylan.com/songs/percy.htmlBad news, bad news, Come to me where I sleep, Turn, turn, turn again. Sayin' one of your friends Is in trouble deep, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Tell me the trouble, Tell once to my ear, Turn, turn, turn again. Joliet prison And ninety-nine years, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Oh what's the charge Of how this came to be, Turn, turn, turn again. Manslaughter In the highest of degree, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. I sat down and wrote The best words I could write, Turn, turn, turn again. Explaining to the judge I'd be there on Wednesday night, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Without a reply, I left by the moon, Turn, turn, turn again. And was in his chambers By the next afternoon, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Could ya tell me the facts? I said without fear, Turn, turn, turn again. That a friend of mine Would get ninety-nine years, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. A crash on the highway Flew the car to a field, Turn, turn, turn again. There was four persons killed And he was at the wheel, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. But I knew him as good As I'm knowin' myself, Turn, turn, turn again. And he wouldn't harm a life That belonged to someone else, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. The judge spoke Out of the side of his mouth, Turn, turn, turn again. Sayin', "The witness who saw, He left little doubt," Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. That may be true, He's got a sentence to serve, Turn, turn, turn again. But ninety-nine years, He just don't deserve, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Too late, too late, For his case it is sealed, Turn, turn, turn again. His sentence is passed And it cannot be repealed, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. But he ain't no criminal And his crime it is none, Turn, turn, turn again. What happened to him Could happen to anyone, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. And at that the judge jerked forward And his face it did freeze, Turn, turn, turn again. Sayin', "Could you kindly leave My office now, please," Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. Well his eyes looked funny And I stood up so slow, Turn, turn, turn again. With no other choice Except for to go, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. I walked down the hallway And I heard his door slam, Turn, turn, turn again. I walked down the courthouse stairs And I did not understand, Turn, turn to the rain And the wind. And I played my guitar Through the night to the day, Turn, turn, turn again. And the only tune My guitar could play Was, "Oh the Cruel Rain And the Wind." A gift for you all ... Paul WAS Replaced affair started on December 26th 1965. He WAS prisoner in a French jail. Because of Sylvie's death? Did he stay for long? Or did he only get out this century? If he's been in prison, why hasn't he be able to write songs from there? Stuck inside these four walls, sent inside forever, Never seeing no one nice again like you, Mama you, mama you. If I ever get out of here, Thought of giving it all away To a registered charity. All I need is a pint a day If I ever get out of here.
Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun, And the first one said to the second one there I hope youre having fun. Band on the run, band on the run. And the jailer man and sailor sam were searching every one
For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run
Well, the undertaker drew a heavy sigh seeing no one else had come, And a bell was ringing in the village square for the rabbits on the run. Band on the run, band on the run. And the jailer man and sailor sam, were searching every one
For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run
Well, the night was falling as the desert world began to settle down. In the town theyre searching for us every where, but we never w ill be found. Band on the run, band on the run
And the county judge, who held a grudge Will search for evermore For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run

Paul was alwasys followed by French control and he tried an escape ... he was so hard to see ... in the end ... Billy Sgt. Pepper make-up was a trick to fool who yet followed Paul. And the clues about Paul being dead were to trick the authorities into thinking he was? Or was he really dead by then? If he wasn't dead, why not continue writing songs in secret and pass them on to the Beatles, Faul etc?

So, JPM was forced to give up his identity, in exchange for his extended freedom??. S.K, please clarify which Paul(s) "had surgery TO BE Paul, after the beatles split "? Did you mean "to be Paul" as in, to be a convincing imposter?, or "to be Paul", as in, to continue to exist as JPM?..

Perhaps-
Were the beatles masons?
I read some literature into the theory that the beatles were masons (good ones), I wonder if there is any truth to that statement?

Check this out- from an interview with "paul"- "Macca, 65, also revealed that four-year-old daughter BEATRICE has a fascination with pictures of him in his BEATLES heyday. Paul said: It’s kind of spooky. She sees old pictures of me, let’s say in the Beatles, and she’ll say, ‘That’s Daddy when he was different?’ I love that. It’s a great way of looking at it. And suppose it’s how I feel." ---No kidding thats how he feels.
