I suspect he means that JPM himself, in order to go on living with freedom, changed his facial identity somewhat so as to never be recognized again as JPM----i.e.--even James Paul no longer looks like James Paul----James Paul;s look is no longer publicly seen or publicly recognized.


The truth is---probably none of us REALLY remember what James Paul actually looked like.
I thought I did. But, I only THOUGHT I did. I have tried to remember, but can't.

Doc, thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of James Paul.

He wanted out of the limelight to live in peace and still be able to continue with the Beatles in the studio.

Changed his look a bit, not by much. Wore disguises. You'll see many images of James Paul in the book, Images of the Beatles by Tim Hill.

Alright, this is going to seem "out there" I admit, but I can't help but share.

As i am sure you are all aware there have been numerous U.F.O. reports happening in texas (among other places) recently. So much so, that Larry King devoted an entire show on the event. I was watching it the other night, and they were playing the videos that civilians have captured. One in particular peaked my interest. There were dozens of tapes of footage, but one of them shocked me right out of my chair. It was bright, brilliant & glowing yellow, and well believe it or not, in the shape of a submarine. really I kid you not. There I was in my living room, staring at footage of a U.F.O. that undoubtedly fits the description of a glowing yellow submarine flying through the texas skies.

what to make of all this, who knows. But man was it awesome to look at, I still have it on my tivo.

So I'm probably the only one here that was bored enough to watch American Idol last night, but if you did catch it by fluke, you were in for a big surprise. Believe it or not, It was Beatles night on American Idol. I know, I know, poor John must have been rolling in his grave while the youngsters massacred (for the most part) their music, turning it into a pure homogenized shite-box of... well SHITE. One girl turned 8-days a week into 4 minutes of torture by making it a sodding country tune-- need I say more. But i watched it all the same, and still was happy to see Beatles songs performed on TV, considering i was almost convinced it was prohibited. One whole night dedicated to the "lennon McCartney song book" as they put it. While I watched the half-wits attempt to "sing" (I think they called it) , filling the songs with unecessary vocal theatrics and uncalled for augmentations, I reflected on how much was going on this year concering my beloved Beatles. They seem to be popping up just about everywhere these days, litterally. Looks like THE TIME HAS COME for the Beatles to make a serious comeback. Really though, why now --does history choose to repeat itself? Check out all the events that are inspired by the fab four this year.

1) The beatles show "Love" in Las Vegas-- Including the new Cd (which won a grammy)
2) Accross the Universe- lets just call it the Beatles movie
3) They actually broadcasted the song "Accross the Universe" into space, or quite litterally accross the universe
4) Paul McCartney is doing a concert in Liverpool called the Liverpool Sound
5) Liverpool is the Capitol of Culture this year- of all places.
6) The beatles night on American Idol, which has never been done any of the other years.
7) Paul released his new CD and in accordance has been doing more performances than previous years including the brit awards, Jools holland new years special, live at the Olympiad, and releasing Ecca Cor meim.

I'm sure I've missed something here...... but you get my drift. It's a good year to be a Beatle I guess. Makes you wonder though, eh?

I don't think I ever understood this thread properly. At the start, SunKing appears to suggest that Billy and Neil are one and the same, then seems to deny this. Yet, the link mentions at the top of the home page refers to how we now know Faul's true identity, and the first post is a Neil Faul comparison.

Either way, Neil is now dead, so are we all agreed that Neil is/was not Faul. I would have thought photos of them together would have been sufficient clarification, but like I said, I was never sure of the point of the thread.

Denny Laine was contacted to work with the Beatles fixing the hole left by Paul in jail.

They tried to make him a replacement but Denny's eyes were too small.

Denny introduced his old friend Phil to the Beatles.
