Yeh, i see, but one thing did strike me, Jessica Fletcher has a nephew who features in more than one episode, and i dare say she has other nephews and the odd niece appearing in one or two episodes. My point? She's always referred to as Aunt Jessie! Where else have we seen an Aunt Jessie?

Consider this... Pay no attention to the man at the piano, but rather what is placed ON the piano. Apollo The man on the piano is Billy Shepherd. That magazine told about the Bonzos. BTW: Vivian Stanshall.
It's hard to believe but Vivian is to be heard on one of the most popular albums of all time - Tubular Bells. Yes, it's him introducing the instruments leading up to the actual banging of those chrome tube like things.
To many, Stanshall was the ultimate English eccentric. His career started in 1966 with the much loved Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band who limped through several gifted but uncommercial releases before teaming up with Paul McCartney (using the psuedonym, Apollo C. Vermouth) as producer and hitting the charts with "I'm The Urban Spaceman". The group's mixture of rock parodies and satire ensured them a warm place in the hearts and minds of the college rock circuit.
Commercial success may have eluded Stanshall after the break up of the Bonzos in the early '70s but the scale of his vision can be seen to the full on "Sir Henry At Rawlinson End" a stunning parody of the English upper class which was turned into a film with Trevor Howard in the title role.
The eccentricity much loved by fans was a symptom of a much deeper mental instability which had taken its toll over the years. However, he seemed once again to be well and charting life as he saw it. Although his output had been erratic over the years to say the least, he had completed a new body of work which had been aired on BBC-2's "The Late Show" prior to his death.
Viv was replaced as Sylvie was by a professional impersonator. His name was Billy Shepherd a friend of Nat Jackley. Maritza Sannia case was the leit motive of the Magical Mystery Tour resolving the Beatles "problem". All was told by the Beatles in that film. A never understood masterpiece. A special thanks to Flaming Pie

Well, if I have it right in my head here, there was a period of time where Bill was masquerading as Vivian during the time period when Bonzo Dog Band was very popular in England in the 60's.He could do this because he resembled Vivian and he did this just before he started masquerading as Paul permanently.
He already had shown the means to alter his apperence before he became Faul, so I think this thread is just to show that not only could he do it as "Paul" he had been doing it for sometime as an an professional impersonator.

Can anyone produce side by sides of Vivian and Fivian? I guess if there were 2 of them, that would make Billy Fivian.

I've already said it in another thread but there's something odd about that pic of Viv, his nose is practically identical to john lennons, bizarre

I wonder if Viv even really existed at all, that he was in fact a complete Billy Shepherd creation!

What a lucky sob he is. He seems to have "stepped in shit " when he got the "Paul" gig What a job to have. To step in & take over other people's lives. I still hate him.

Exactly. Nat Jackley was the king of the pantomime. So he suggested Ringo the solution: Billy Shepherd a talented impersonator/imitator who was already replacing Vivian Stanshall in the The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. But to "perform" Paul too it was needed a plastic surgery operation under the metaphor of a "Canadian Military Tent" It was mainly about a nasal bone and eyes areas reshaping and a whole body liposculpture procedure. Liposculpture procedure takes away the fat under the skin that is replaced after in the "proper" position. To disguise the permanent signs of the "Faul" surgical operation around the eyes Bill started to wear fake glasses when he performed Vivian. It was for the liposculpture procedure features that Billy continued to be "Faul" and "Vivian" until the 1995.

I tried many times to watch that part of the film, and still he looks like Mal Evans to me. It's very difficult to say because you can't see his face very well, but that's my opionion. This wouldn't change your explanation of how things have gone. MMT was filmed in 1967, while Bill became Faul in late 1966, that’s when he needed the body liposculpture procedure you mentioned. The “Magical Mystery Boy” could well be someone else in the scene, he is just playing the role of Bill. That body looks like Mal Evans’.

The same pale (red haired typical) skin. It was just about the filming of the Bill operation. If you zoom on the picture you can see that is "Motical" and not "Mistical". What "Motical" could mean in English?

I never saw those pictures (or the movie) before, where you can see the head with glasses...
is there any reason to believe that that head is actually supposed to be on top of that body? it doesn't seem to match to me THAT much better than George Harrison's head does... seems a little too small and just weird-looking...

ah ... It's Mal because the glasses ..... Mystical is for.... mystification From the dictonary: mystification, obfuscation the activity of obscuring people's understanding, leaving them baffled or bewildered
